Michigan Vs. Maryland Open Thread...

Submitted by LSAClassOf2000 on

Here's your open thread for Michigan / Maryland - 'tis an awful weather day here in MI, but let's beat the Terrapins all the same. I, for one, have two glasses of port wine in me already, so I am set.

Doug Nussmeier continually puts Gardner in positions where he has very limited options on where to go with the football.  It is so frustrating.  The play action bootleg and rollouts to the right leave him with one receiving option every single time.

Maybe condition your players better, rather than have to burn timeouts to give them a 3rd quarter rest. Who needs timeouts right? I mean it only cost us 4 points in the 1st half.

I don't understand why every team that Michigan plays isn't going up tempo from the get go. It's not as if we've figured out how to deal with it after three years.

It's simple troll or stupid person logic.  The fact that RR got Casteel and also had a year off to think about the fact his defense consistently regressed at Michigan means we never should have fired him.  Not to mention Gibson moving over to a non coaching role before leaving 'Zone entirely.  None of RR's growth could have come from his year off and time to reflect on what went wrong here.  So if we'd kept him, we'd be winning NCs right now clearly.
