Only 4 coaches have won their first championship in that timeframe. 1 week 2 days ago	Are you serious?	Hollins just left Memphis not LA, NY, Miami. Its Memphis for crying out loud. If he was cool in Memphis then the right amount of money would have made him cool in Detroit in my opinion.  I'm not saying it would have been easy, but at least float a story out there saying Detroit at least contacted Karl, Shaw, Hollins, Del Negro, Avery Johnson etc to show the fanbase that you tried. Monroe and Drummond have the potential to be better than Z-Bo and Gasol. That combo has to be attractive to anyone interested in coaching in the NBA.

I love you all. Ive been away from home for 3 months so far with another 5 months left on this current deployment. Enjoy the day while remembering that its not just another day off.

As a previous poster said, we will always at least compete for the top level Ohio guys that we want and all you can ask for is a chance. As I type this I realize how much that recruiting combo of Urb and Mattison had to terrorize SEC coaches a few years ago...

4 weeks 1 day ago	You guys are off...	And have the scenario all wrong. Name one guy that went from being a good shooter to great? You can't. THJ is already a good shooter but he can be better, but ball handling is simple. All you need is a ball and spare time and you can develop a reliable handle. Did Jordan have handles? Nope, but he rarely got the ball taken and that's the level of handles THJ can aspire to gain. The point of dribbling is to go from point A to point B and dribbling is the most overrated aspect of the game. You can make a roster by being a specialist in everything but dribbling but why? Because its the skill in bball thats easiest to develop.

His handle is probably his biggest knock, but luckily for him, it's one of the easiest skills to develop in basketball. I really believe he can be a great spot up shooter/defender in the NBA. Trey on the other hand will be a starter (possible perrenial Allstar) for a long time in the NBA in my opinion.
