“The player development is the main thing I like (about Michigan),” Williams said. “You can see that they develop their players. They get them in the gym and they work them hard. And their hard work pays off.”

Always be skeptical of the "official government story."

HaHaHa I get it
But I do agree with you. We need better quality opponents on the schedule sooner as well as later. Sounds like Brandon was listening to the complaints but unfortunatelt is not working to get the big boys on the schedule in the near future. Still glad though.
|2 weeks 5 days ago||A perfect season||
A perfect season. No losses, DG wins the Heisman, while Smith rushes for over 1000 yards and Green adds another 700. The defense sets a new record for sacks all time and we score 45 points per game on average.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Thank you for that||
This was my time at Michigan and we were so incredibly dominant back then. Wheatley was f'ing amazing and still is one of my favorites. What a time in M history that was.
|6 weeks 3 days ago||Number Changes||
I am not a fan of any of the crazy number changes except for the formerly coveted #1 jersey. I would perhaps agree to also having a coveted #2 jersey but that's it. If you want to honor the legends, a sticker or patch should do without all the changes. I would rather less time be devoted to this issue by the program and more go into other things tht are actually necessary for player and team development.

Love the fact that he wrote an intelligent letter like this thanking everyone. That's quality stuff.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Thank you for this||
Thank you for this incredibly informative piece.
Your explanation helps me to realize how players are deployed most effectively and I also understand why Pete Carroll had a lot of success running an under front with USC.
FYI, My Madden07 4-3 over is an epic fail unless if shift the linebackers.

Road wins are absolutely critical this year. I do not know why this team struggles when it travels but reworking road trips needs to be a priority for Hoke & co. The team needs a new approach and I hope someone isn't stubbornly sticking to some travel routine that is proven to fail.

There is no way we lose to The Fig Things Irish this year or to the MSU Inmates for that matter.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Personally||
Personally I hope to see some four and five wide sets this year as I wish we had done last year at times. I'll bet the Nuss will show us this in 2014.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Man let's do this||
Man let's do this and definitely get them to our stadium the next year. I am tired of the multi-cupcake schedules we've gotten accustomed to and it is not helping with the toughness we so badly need to re- instill at Michigan. Really don't want to see UCONN, UMASS, Dayton, and all these smaller schools on our schedule ever again. I can handle one per season but not more than that. We used to joke about Notre Dame doing this all the time when we were scheduling the big boys in the late 80's and early 90's. Now look at us. Bring on Bama, Florida, Florida State, UCLA, Oregon, etc. and let's "return to glory" .

Good luck Schofield but I will never be a Broncos fan. Happy to see another Michigan Man get drafted.

I just got sprung watching that. Now I can't stand up.
|13 weeks 15 hours ago||Holy crap||
Holy crap payback is in order with wins against both. The fact that we have lost dominance against them for several years now is something that must end this year or some heads will have to roll.
Still, if I have to choose one and only one this year it would be a victory over Staee. While I really am tired of OSU, the fact that Staee is fielding strong defenses that look like Michigan's used to look means we will lose the battle for top recruits in state (and possibly out as well). I have to see a dominant and convicing win against them this year because last year's loss was absolutely pathetic.
|14 weeks 18 hours ago||now those||
now those are some really sharp unis. I would like to see Michigan upgrade and add a little flair as well. Their collars are pretty awesome.
|15 weeks 2 days ago||That was||
That was the hookup. Thanks for the link.
|16 weeks 4 days ago||Amen to that. Borges||
Amen to that. Borges was not so gorgeous. Of course the defense got a major fail in that and all other games as well.
Aside from that, Michigan should have hired Penn State's d Line coach instead of letting him go to The Nuts. Reshuffling the coaching deck instead of bringing in a new guy or two better lead to major improvement.
|16 weeks 5 days ago||He better not||
He better not be changing the name to Domino's Stadium with a $200 per game student ticket price and 10% discount for those who arrive 3 hours before kickoff.
|17 weeks 1 day ago||Standing Ovation||
Standing ovation for the Michigan men and their coach. I was not expecting them to be this good this year after having to replace two great talents lost to the NBA plus not having McGary. I want to say Jordan Morgan played like a champion this year and was a true tough guy. We have great young talent still developing and I expect to be back in the final 4 next year. We may just win it all.

for a minute I thought it said Kansas State.

Horford and I both have heavy sacks. Indeed that is what she said.
|21 weeks 5 days ago||I always||
I always liked Steve Fischer and I still do. Maybe was frustrated with him from time to time but I liked the guy.
|21 weeks 5 days ago||I am certain that||
I am certain that Devin is going to play even better than he did in the second half of last year. We will see improved O-line protection for one. Also, the play calling will undoubtedly be improved and you will see that Devin really is a good QB. I am not calling you a naysayer but the naysayers will be proven wrong this year. Save this post and revisit it at the end of the year. Devin will be a top 10 ranked QB.
|22 weeks 4 days ago||I would have preferred||
I would have preferred a cpouple coaching changes rather than reshuffling the deck like this. I am interested to see how changing these position coaches like this will lead to improvements. Were these people in the wrong place for the last 3 years? If so, I would call that very interesting.
|22 weeks 4 days ago||The difference, however||
The difference, however, is that you don't see the rooms refered to in their royal titles everytime they are mentioned.
I'm sure if their is a get together in the Nathan and Catherine Forbes Family Lobby, Brandon doesn't tell the press:
"Hey everybody coming down to Michigan this weekend is going to be led by Madonna in a singalong in the Nathan and Catherine Forbes Family Lobby. Don't forget, the J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family head Football Coach will be there too after he finishes his interview in the Regent Andrea Fischer Newman and Frank Newman Home Radio Booth. By the Way, Professor Saxenhouse will be there too."
|22 weeks 4 days ago||Damn Right. What in tarnation||
Damn Right. What in tarnation is that ridiculous freaking title. it looks absolutely moronic and Brandon shhould have his head and ass shaved for that ridiculous freaking title.
For short, Hoke is now the "JIandNHFHFC".
Message to Ira and Nicki. Shove it!
|23 weeks 8 hours ago||Hell yeah||
Hell yeah. This is as ridiculous as it gets. What the hell kind of title is that? On the other hand, as long as it is an endowed position - why don't we call him the endowed Michigan Football coach?
