Not sure what you are basing that guess on.  Norfleet never showed much of anything as a receiver.  Perry threw a few good blocks in that game.  I'm happy for Norfleet, but this seems an unnecessary criticism of Perry who had some pretty good moments on a pretty good team as a freshman.

Side note: no ""Northfleet"s yet?  I am disappoint mgoblog.

If he does this dance at his pro day, he should go late 1st or early 2nd round in my opinion.

In all seriousness though this is awesome news. He's a kid who didn't have an ideal upbringing growing up in Detroit. I'm pretty sure I remember reading an article about him having to eat paint chips off a wall because he was so hungry. Fast forward into the future and he got to play football at the highest level in college and gets his degree from Michigan. I'll be rooting hard for this kid in whatever he does from here on out.

Brian is sobbing happily into his Dennis Norfleet body pillow. Well deserved, Fearless Leader. Well deserved.

On a serious note, I couldn't be happier for Norfleet. His departure just smacked of solemn regret, which made it even harder to take. I hope Norfleet reaps good things from this experience.

Good to hear!

As others mentioned, he doesn't have eligibility left, but it is excellent to hear that he is coming back to Ann Arbor to complete his degree and graduate from Michigan - welcome back, Dennis Norfleet!

it's nice to have a data point of harbaugh apparently putting his money where his mouth was when he made the comments about michigan when he was at stanford. that is, consistency. he didn't like the way his academics were handled when he was here, and now that he has an opportunity to do things differently for the sake of his players' academic achievement, he is. hooray.

So many times in life people quit when things don't go there way.

This gets my fired up, Norfleet FOUND a way. Good, no, GREAT for him! Way to make things happen for your Dennis, get your year of big time PT on the field and still get your degree from Michigan.

That's HUGE!
