Bosch started this year and

Bosch started this year and LTT likely to be start wherever he is (One of the Mississippi schools?).

Not to mention that MSU

Not to mention that MSU game...

Having said that, he was a huge reason we beat IU and obviously was lights out against Floridada -  could have been a different game if they got some momentum going early with some stops.

Overall not bad at all.

Not sure what you are basing

Not sure what you are basing that guess on.  Norfleet never showed much of anything as a receiver.  Perry threw a few good blocks in that game.  I'm happy for Norfleet, but this seems an unnecessary criticism of Perry who had some pretty good moments on a pretty good team as a freshman.

Side note: no ""Northfleet"s yet?  I am disappoint mgoblog.

Then again, I wonder who Sam

Then again, I wonder who Sam talked to before saying that.  It seems he may get a lot of his info from former players.  I don't believe his role is so much that of a talent scout.

Sounds great, but it's

Sounds great, but it's probably going to be tough to recruit against schools offering early playing time to ELITE recruits.

I hope so

Hadn't really paid much attention to this name but just watched some highlights. I be like dang.  I'm not much of a scout by any means but he is blowing up some pretty strong-looking competition in his hudl film.

Silent, perhaps?

Don't forget that Peppers is

Don't forget that Peppers is probably a legend to these guys.

Yes.  I don't think the

Yes.  I don't think the LaQuon Treadwell recruitment dong-punch has gotten enough credit around here.  Our offense may have looked completely capable with him for the last two years.  But then again, maybe that would mean no Harbaugh.

Bruce Brown potentially at

Bruce Brown potentially at PG.  I personally like him better than all of the others except Langford, including Winston.

"I'll see you guys on here

"I'll see you guys on here around midnight when you guys are in full meltdown mode."

Cool.  Because that is what normal people are planning in June.  Go have a family vacation or something.

Does the NBA not review tape

Does the NBA not review tape and hold refs accountable?  The officiating has just made the game unwatchably bad.

For instance: Green leans on James before the tip. Ref realizes it is too blatant, tells him to back off, Green still grabs him on the way up. No call.  Step 3: Profit.

And oh yeah, what he is doing is exactly what he did to win the opening tip of OT, with no call.

One thing that Fisch

One thing that Fisch inarguably has on him is that beautiful head of hair.

Mucus is a noun.  Mucous is

Mucus is a noun.  Mucous is an adjective. Not very many people would know that.

Have seen this type of tweet

Have seen this type of tweet reported many times on prospects who then proceed to pick exactly the school that everyone suspected. He does look like a promising prospect and he apparently won his state title in wrestling.  But regardless of his choice, I don't forsee my head spinning.

Stop acting like our

Stop acting like our recruiting expectations should be the same as Duke's.

My guess is he is talking

My guess is he is talking about the players he has seen in person, and that he watches Mich HS basketball mostly.  I liked D Walt a lot as a high schooler, but Winston is a much more polished offensive player.

You haven't been keeping up.

You haven't been keeping up.  People were talking about him and Derryck Thornton Jr being a package deal roughly one year ago.  Back then people saw DTJr as a near-lock for Michigan and Battle as a long shot.  Things have changed, but can't say I'm too mad.  I think having Walton for 2 more years (probably) and playing along side Battle as a senior will be better than Thornton as a 1 and done.

I could see him flipping

I could see him flipping immediately from NW if he were committed there then subsequently offerred by michigan, considering they have never made the NCAA tournament.  The other two, though, would be formidable competition.

Would be nice, but very few

Would be nice, but very few bigs can run the floor like J-Mo and slip the screen like he did.  Still I would say Davis has a higher ceiling clearly because of the factors you mentioned.  Probably closer to 4 extra inches when he finishes growing/ when J-Mo's true height is taken into account.

Do you think it's possible

Do you think it's possible for anyone to improve upon the ability to make a coherent argument?

I agree with this assessment.

I agree with this assessment.  Also, the only criticism I have and that anyone else has rightly expressed in him as a player is a lack of athleticism.  This can be improved easily.  He has hands and coordination around that basket that very few centers possess.  He has a great frame.  And the first highlights posted in this page are from when he was very underdeveloped physically (He was probably 15).  Many kids get a little chubby around his age.  He already looks way better in the video below:

Granted, these are drill, but clearly his body composition is way ahead of where it was last year.

What I am confused about, and other have expressed, is the roster management.  I'm thinking it means we have some attrition coming.

Collecting a fee and agreeing

Collecting a fee and agreeing to the procedure without performing euthanasia is without question highly unethical. You can suggest that the owner sign paperwork and surrender the pet.

Euthanizing healthy pets is a matter up for debate when one considers the countless number of animals in shelters and overpopulation of pets in general.  The quality of life for pets living in many shelters is questionable.  It certainly is not ethical to send a pet back home into an environment where it will not receive adequate care.  Even worse, an owner who is forced to take their (likely intact) pet back may just release it, potentially worsening the overpopulation situation.  On the other hand, providing convenience euthanasia simply reinforces the behavior of irresponsible pet owners.

Yes

Humane euthanasia can be an excellent choice for any pets suffering from disease that is terminal/ can't be managed/ significantly impairs a pet's quality of life.  Convenience is not a justifiable reason.

In this particular case, re-homing the dog may have been difficult due to dog-aggression, but she still would have had a better chance than if she had been aggressive toward people.

Had not heard of him.

Had not heard of him.  Reminds me of James Blackmon jr, not as strong though.

Indeed.  Not to undervalue

Indeed.  Not to undervalue his contributions of the last two years, but I do think that he will have a chance to make more plays this year with the strength we have surrounding him on defense.  He has pretty capable ball skills.  I remember last year reading that an opposing WR said he was the only guy they had to worry about when going over the middle.

Honestly, I think Kerridge is

Honestly, I think Kerridge is a little under-valued still, and I think (hope) Morris will really push Rudock.  No mention of Ian Bunting?

We need this Devin Bush kid.

We need this Devin Bush kid.  I like his name and his game, and his dad looks like a chubby version of Denard.  And he has terrific hair.

Mason Cole.  He plays the

Mason Cole.  He plays the right position and anyone else is a question mark at this point.

Gardner had some pretty good

Gardner had some pretty good games, but was hampered by bad OL play, injuries, and average receivers.  Ross has been fairly productive.  We shall see what RJS does this year.  Michigan HS players at other schools have had some success.

Are you asking whether I knew

Are you asking whether I knew he had the potential to be injured?  I guess I just assumed he wasn't invincible.

Yes.  2012 OSU's defense was

Yes.  2012 OSU's defense was quite average to bad, in fact.  They squeaked by against some pretty bad teams that year (and beat some decent ones).  They were a bit of  a paper tiger.

I don't know about you, but I

I don't know about you, but I never considered myself an asscheek.

This is reminiscent of an old

This is reminiscent of an old Louie bit where he states with regards to his Infiniti, "Every day I make them die with my car".

Well, he's the likely starter

Well, he's the likely starter at what has been called the strongest position on the defense.  Sometimes maybe it's better not to hear much.

Yeah.   No argument here.

Yeah.   No argument here.  But he does start at OSU, so I'm just saying he is worthy of consideration whereas previously he was completely off the radar.  UMHoops has much more video and info.  Looks like he went from averaging 4 pts/ gm as a junior to 22 and 12 rebs as a senior.  So it's safe to say that he is not at his full potential.  He looks like he works hard on defense and he really does have a great frame.   I think he's definitely worth an offer especially if we lose anyone.  Kinda tough to gauge his fit with the roster in the next few years, but he's worth keeping an eye on.  Could turn out to be a poor man's blake griffin. (full disclosure: yes, the last part was probably influenced by the fact that he is bi-racial).

You undervalue how good Mitch

You undervalue how good Mitch McGary is/ was.  Not many players can catch and finish the way he does off of pick and roll.

Ok.  First highlight is

Ok.  First highlight is goaltending, but the last play on the tape is actually pretty sick.  Needs a lot of work but looks like a good athlete with great size.  I hope for him that it's just the case that he has never received any good coaching.  If he can develop a short range jumper to go along with the 1-2 dribble drives he could be a good player.  He could at least be as good as Amir williams.

Goddamit.  Your picture makes

Goddamit.  Your picture makes me chuckle every time.

How about just take the top

How about just take the top 40 or so times in every event.  Maybe give an auto-bid to conference champions or something, provided that they make the "B" cut?  I don't know, I'm just a guy.
