Per Twitter Mike Weber Update
Per Twitter Mike Weber Update. Teddy Blanks a good Michigan insider tweeted that a meeting with Harbaugh was cancelled lastnight but will reschedule it this week (Good News).
Also Mike Weber tweeted a hour ago " Too young to be stressing like this". Obviously as a young man it must be a very stressful decision to make. Michigan is a serious player still. Most of us on here think hes long gone, not so fast. Let the rumors fly with about a week to go here. It will be a fun ride thats for sure. Go Blue!
Wanted to update for all my non twitter friends.

I'm too old to be stressing like this.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:38 PM ^
Maybe a few weeks after NSD. (Malik McDowell...never forget).
January 26th, 2015 at 3:07 PM ^
Or months... see Pryor, Terrelle
January 26th, 2015 at 3:23 PM ^
I think Tressel had Pryor troll Michigan and make sure Rich Rod didn't get the kind of QB he wanted right away. Weber isn't going to affect anyone else's decision or the coaching staff's recruit list.
January 26th, 2015 at 3:34 PM ^
see Gunner Kiel
January 26th, 2015 at 5:44 PM ^
And of course how can we forget Kozan's great vision quest/ spiritual odyssey?
January 26th, 2015 at 2:41 PM ^
I'm not a fan of stress. Not for me, nor anyone else.
But in this circumstance, I'm glad to see that Michigan has given Weber something to think about.
And if that stresses us all out a bit until NSD, so be it. I wish Weber the best with his decision.
January 26th, 2015 at 3:32 PM ^
I think Weber has his heart at Michigan but his head is at OSU. I hope he is comfortable with whatever his choice is.
January 27th, 2015 at 12:44 AM ^
Screw that. I hope he picks Michigan. He won't go wrong at either place, really. So he might as well pick us.
January 26th, 2015 at 3:56 PM ^
How do we even know this has anything to do with football....Maybe he has a date tonight and can't decide between Red Lobster or TGI Fridays?
January 26th, 2015 at 2:33 PM ^
Only if Ann Arbor is his destination
January 26th, 2015 at 2:33 PM ^
but I think he still long gone although I've definitely been wrong before hopefully this is one of those times
January 26th, 2015 at 2:59 PM ^
From listening to Sam Webb this morning, Sam was saying that in spite of what many of us were thinking, Michigan still had a shot with Weber. That the kid is under stress is proof positive that Sam is correct.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:33 PM ^
He can end this process with one respectful 30 second phone call, but he doesn't. Instead he keeps the M option open. I'm guessing he'll flip and play for his childhood favorite.
January 26th, 2015 at 3:05 PM ^
He also thanked Dantonio for visiting too. (paste, sorry, no inbed)
Much respect to Coach Dantonio for coming by saying what's up .

Somehow, I can't imagine MD stoping by for a wassup....
January 26th, 2015 at 4:07 PM ^
...that's the part that gets me. That a kid can grow up blue, then sign with our #1 nemesis makes me throw up in my mouth a bit. Best of luck to him of course, but not losing a blink of sleep if he goes south.
January 26th, 2015 at 4:23 PM ^
Will give you millions of reasons.
OSU boosters may give you a tat or thousands but..
As a kid seeing a NC and some recent players in the NFL would make my mind rationalize. I'd probably go sit on the bench/scout team of UM before going to OSU but then again I'm not him or an extremely talented RB.
No hard feelings, hope his decision he never regrets either way.
January 26th, 2015 at 5:56 PM ^
I long ago gave up on realying upon the "Michigan was my favorite growing up" routine. Too many times I read this only to see somebody go elsewhere. To say that Michigan is your favorite and then go to Ohio State it comparable to saying you love Alabama and going to Auburn or that you love the Cowboys but every time there is a game on you show up in Redskins gear.
January 27th, 2015 at 12:47 AM ^
I've been following Michigan since the early 80's. Over the years, we have gotten a ton of Ohio recruits who grew up die-hard Ohio State fans. It wokrs both ways.

to assume he's out of Michigan's reach and then be pleasantly surprised next week.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:38 PM ^
^this x1000.
Recruiting is too much of a roller coaster ride to get hopes up over vague tweets and other ambiguous signals, especially if you are emotionally invested in a program.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:42 PM ^
Not ME....
January 26th, 2015 at 7:13 PM ^
just add 2 gallons of everclear, some Alabama cheerleaders, and one armadillo with absolutely NO sense of humor..
January 26th, 2015 at 2:51 PM ^
that bad.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:36 PM ^
We promise we'll use spell check next time!
January 26th, 2015 at 3:29 PM ^
Pretty sure OSU said they didn't make that. Probably some fan.

That "mistake" is old news my friend:

Would be nice to at least get a link of the tweets.
I googled Teddy Blanks and got some hipster's twitter.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:35 PM ^
For what it is worth. Have a hard time believing he is an insider. He seems to tweet out info off the Scout.com GoBlueWolverine board! The information he was "leaking" during the coaching search was consistent with rumors posted there with a bit of ad-lib on his part as well as what he is tweeting now.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:36 PM ^
I wouldn't consider Teddy Blanks to be the best source. Awhile back he deleted his profile and restarted because his source was burned.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:44 PM ^
Teddy blanks=thosewhostay7 during the coaching search. He got ran off Twitter because he was acting like an insider. Turned out he was a 15 year old kid that was spewing crap. He needs to be banned from board conversation. I'm a member at 2 sites and both there guys are
Saying no such thing is set up. Guy is full of it.

I didn't know that. I will unfollow him.
January 26th, 2015 at 3:19 PM ^
[Edit: it seems like evenyoubrutus has more info about this below than I did. I do think he knows someone - but if it's just someone tight with Harbaugh's old agent then I agree he probably knows nothing about Weber.]
January 26th, 2015 at 2:37 PM ^
Tough decision to make I am sure. We want him to wear a winged helmet, but the decision is his. Wish you the best no matter the outcome. Go Blue!
January 26th, 2015 at 2:38 PM ^
Dang it! Delaware stealing our players again.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:46 PM ^
You are crafty
January 26th, 2015 at 2:40 PM ^
He went down to the national championship celebration in Columbus, on his own dime...the writing's on the wall.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:42 PM ^
He went with Damon Webb's family. I guess that counts as his own dime.
Like you, I'm skeptical about him flipping back.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:44 PM ^
Heh, maybe he chipped in a few bucks for gas money?
January 26th, 2015 at 3:00 PM ^
I don't imagine he'd want to miss that celebration unless he was certain he wasn't going to OSU.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:49 PM ^
when he found out that the coolers did not contain any beverages for the celebration.
January 26th, 2015 at 3:03 PM ^
by dipping it in the cooler.
Your in for trouble there, Mike.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:45 PM ^
he rode with Damon Webb Sr on the MichiganInsider this AM.
January 26th, 2015 at 2:41 PM ^
High school kid=recruiting insider? Ok.
