That was one of the strongest examples of contagious shooting. If I was playing for Indiana during that run I would've made a shot, I don't think Max had anything to do with it.

I think Beilein was hinting at attrition from other schools.

Exactly, if he was 100% healthy or had a broken arm last year then I would be mad about making him leave. But hip injuries linger, and you can't tell me he will be at his highest level of play. It just wouldn't make sense to keep him.

If you were allowed 15 scholarships I would agree, but you can't have 3 players at every position.

There's a higher chance that he plucks a diamond out of the rough and sends him to the NBA than another team.

I dislike all the people saying that Beilein is mismanaging the roster. Out of everyone in the world who are the two that know the most about Spike's ability to play right now? We know that Spike isn't going to be better than Derrick, and for all we know Spike's hips are a ticking time bomb. Why would you keep a guy that either forces our true freshman to wait a year to play, or is the third string point guard when you have other needs. We don't have a real 4, we lost Dawkins which was needed depth on the wing. If Beilein feels we need more depth elsewhere I'm with him.

Guys like this are why I'm happy we are playing Hawaii in our first game. If we can jump out to a big lead and play Hill, Washington, Watson and Long some meaningful snaps, they will be all the more ready for next year.

Electric? It felt like a high school game. It was pretty much tied with Northwestern for me.

Yeah he needs to be an assistant at a lower level D-1 school first.

I mean this is all your opinion, just the same as my comment was my opinon. To me "Who is better" is different than "Who would you rather have?" I would rather have all of the young guys plus Flacco, Dalton, Brees, and Wilson. However right now Stafford is better than those young guys. Your argument about the line is valid, although Flacco, and Wilson didn't have Megatron which kind of evens it out.

Brees, Wilson, Ryan, Dalton, Roethlisberger, Flacco, Bortles, Romo. Did I miss anyone? That's Stafford at 13th for me and I didn't include Mariota, Bridgewater, Carr, or Winston.

Here is my objective opinion on Cook. Guys get drafted based on the total package, but when one part of the package is either a flaw or extremely valuable it changes the willingness of teams to draft. So for example, Tunsil has been said to be the most talented player in the class, if he was squeaky clean he would have been the clear number one pick. However, he isn't clean, so teams had to weigh his value as a player with the risk involved. With Cook there are too many things that can be seen as risks. He had a shoulder injury last year, this will eliminate teams that don't want to deal with that. And then his leadership flaws, this will eliminate teams that don't want to deal with that in their locker room. The reason why his having a bad attitude is different than a DUI, or marijuana smoking is that it is recurring. You can't compare all of these things.

Barrett will probably go in the twenties next year, and O'Korn would have to improve quite a bit to go I the first round in two years.

Nah, there was a video posted on Twitter of Tunsil smoking out of a gas mask, he probably won't even get drafted tonight.

In elementary school we weren't allowed to play football but we adapted handball into tackle handball. In the winter we focused more on hitting people than we did scoring.

But there are 32 picks every year and very rarely do those guys become superstars. You don't just throw the pick away, as those guys build your team, but it doesn't matter a ton.

How much did Dawkins play this year?
|6 days 16 hours ago||Losing 2 guys unexpectedly on||
Losing 2 guys unexpectedly on a basketball team is like losing 15 football players to transfer. You can't plan for that every year. Dawkins' potential was arguably the highest on the team, and now that we missed on Mullins he would have been the best option to keep.

I don't know much about Cal but he will probably walk in there and start. He would have only gotten like 15 minutes a game here.

Regarding the 11.3, I think it had to do with him being 17, 6'1" 225, and running against the wind. If he runs an 11.1 in perfect that's pretty fast for how old he is. And with technique plus strength improvements he get it to an 11.0 that's really fast for his size.
