It sounds like Fisch is being interviewed for the Atlanta Falcons QB coach, but if that doesn't work out I guess we could see a Durkin and Fisch reunion.

Where he had total control of the offense for a spot where he probably won’t have sole play calling duties. But he probably feels FSU is a better jumping off point to a head coaching job. Tough break for DJ.

He wasn’t really setting the world on fire. Maryland was 113th in offensive S&P+ this year and 86th last year. This year you can point to QB problems, last year was him putting in his system, which is a unique system. He is regarded as a great young mind, so it will be interesting to see what he can do with the talent at Florida State.

Taggart inherited a pretty good roster, already.  And with the staff he's putting together, it looks like he intends to improve it quickly.  FSU could be pretty scary in the next few years.

If he can simplify their offense (which I heard was a huge problem with Jimbo's offense) and find a way to keep Blackmon upright, they're already title contenders next season. The defense will still be good and bring in 5 star after 5 star.

With the exception of Clemson, ND and Miami, FSU can pretty much out-talent everyone on its schedule next year. Assuming Taggart hits the ground running anyway.

The way that they ran Bowden out of town and then scumbag Jimbo with the Winston stuff is the reason why. Taggart will not do as well as people think and I could care less if he is linked with Harbaugh. Dan Mullen will pull the top talent to Gainesville out of the big three Florida schools. Richt hit his ceiling this past season as he will win 8-9 games a year just like he did in Athens.
