He's definitely a candidate but it really depends on if he likes working with kids or adults. It's the same for Harb. I actually think he likes working with the kids more unless, insane money above what he already makes is offered. These guys are already rich at this point it's about what they really want to do. I don't think winning a Super Bowl is as important as some make it out to be and he realizes that his legacy as one of the greats can be solidified at Michigan.

Just because Bryce visits, it doesn't mean anything other than he has some interest and want's to get to know a little more. We have a HUGE head start here. UM is doing all the right things in his recruitment and I think that as long as we keep doing what we've been doing, and don't suddenly Muck this up, he's ours to loose. He's a well grounded kid who seems very mature for his age.

there's zero chance that deion sanders is still coaching in boulder to start the 2026 season, and it has nothing to do with whether or not he turns them around.  if they win, well, anyone with a pulse knows he sees colorado as a stepping stone to somewhere else.  if not, then deion will fuck off and blab about how the deck was stacked against him.  it's just the way he rolls.

the point being - bryce underwood, if he shows up at colorado in fall 2025, will get one year, max, with deion.  i'm not saying that will (or should) matter to him either way, it's just an observation.

I believe Deion has gone on record as saying he wants no part in coaching the NFL. Obviously times change and people wants / needs change, but at least for now, he's said he's not considering it. I believe this was just a few months ago that he said this as well.

Really have to get the NIL together. Heard Sheduer Sanders is making in the neighborhood of $10M. His jerseys are sold out at $375 a pop.

You heard wrong then if you think a QB is making $10M, or more than his dad and only a bit less than the top-paid coaches in CFB.

We may also find out that perhaps TCU's defense is really pretty trash and CU comes down a bit.  Lest we forget, last year TCU's pass defense got two pick-sixes and STILL gave up 9.8 ypa to McCarthy on 35 throws.  And that was a much more talented defense than this one.  I think CU has earned the benefit of the doubt that they'll be competitive but Nebraska looked like a team with a solid defense against Minnesota and so we'll see how CU looks against them.

Sanders signed NIL deal with TB12.  So did McNamara.

Now that Cade is at Iowa, can we have another representation from Michigan?  JJ might be available.  I wonder if Cade's contract is still valid, given that there is no way Brady signs him if he wren't at Michigan.

Don't give him any reasons to easily pick someone else. If he does after Michigan putting their best foot forward then he does not much can be done. I can't blame a 17 year old kid making the biggest decision of his life to this point for looking into all options.

Let’s just see this season play out. Once teams get film and start game planning things may start to get more difficult. Plus, if JJ lights the world on fire, which I fully expect, then we should be back in the driver’s seat.

But many of you were saying Coach Prime was good for the sport.  Just remember that when we lose another stud local QB to a program out west.

that's what good for the sport means -- it's not going to always be good for you, individually, but it's going to be good for the game to have more excitement and strong programs.

But, as I said above, if Prime really is that good, he doesn't stay at colorado until this qb gets there -- he gets an nfl or main-school job next year.

You can have parity while still locking down local talent (see UofM in the 70s through 90s).

Colorado could just turn into the next Pete Carrol USC or Nick Saban Alabama. A place that sucks talent from around the country.  I dont see that as a good thing.  I also see it worse when it involves poaching top talent from our state.

Both USC and Alabama are storied programs with a ton of history and success; CU has had 1 winning season (the year UM played them) since they joined the Pac-12.  Yes they just won a crazy game against a ranked TCU team, but perhaps (a) TCU ain't that good, and (b) assuming they'll be able to replicate that going forward and then turning into some huge recruiting draw is a bit premature.

Underwood is on campus at Michigan virtually every week. He's using the facilities. He's involved with the staff and players. The fact that he's taking a visit to Colorado does not mean in any way that they are going to sign him.

Michigan doesn't have him locked up at all. However, any notion that Colorado is leading or has him locked up because of a visit is just absurd. Not only Michigan but several other schools will have a lot to say on that.

If I were a hot shot young QB, I would vist Colorado too...nothing wrong with this, he should go where he thinks he fits best.  I hope that is Michigan, but who knows.

My god this Colorado hype has reached such insane levels. They’re a terrible program, and they’ll be terrible for years to come. Going to Colorado would be the biggest mistake of this kid’s life.

Sure, going to school there would be a mistake. However, going to see the carnival while it's in town, why not? From all I've read, this kid wants to win. Georgia, Alabama, Michigan etc, those are the places he's thinking. Not "hey maybe we can manage 8-4 this year". Esp because nobody can possibly believe Sanders will stick around longer than his son does.

After last week Coach Prime is the new hotness, but we'll see if that's still the case following some conference games.

Underwood visiting Colorado is no big deal.  He's a smart kid and is going to consider the total package.  Go check it out, enjoy what's sure to be a fun environment for that game.

He's not a Michigan lock, never has been.  Campbell and Moore and Harbaugh are going to have recruit him right up to signing day and the NIL people will need to be on standby, money cannon loaded.

I wasn't quite sure what it was, but I knew there was a reason to root against Colorado.  And it starts this Saturday!

Please don't nebraska me Nebraska.
