39 weeks 5 days ago	LOL'd	"I have an operative theory: Braden only showed at Michigan's camp after his commitment, and while he did very well there the only guys who saw him were the local experts and they did not have enough pull to get him bumped once the season started and Braden started taking on iffy smallish West Michigan competition."   This was my favorite part of the post and I hope it catches on as a Mgoblog meme.  Playing in the O-K Red with non-conference games against a D2 state finalist and a D1 playoff team is pretty much exactly like playing against the Little Sisters of the Poor every week.

50 weeks 1 day ago	Excellent	Funds from the MMFE allow University of Michigan physicians and researchers to flush out their roster with blue chip research recruits and provide the infrastructure and start up monies to investigate promising new ideas for diagnosis and treatment and get them to the point of external funding or venture capital interest.   Loved the word choice here given the involvement of the Urology Dept.

One more item for the errata file:  There is a paragraph about Devin Gardner being held up for early enrollment and references him attending Romulus HS, 'hard by the airport' or something.  Pretty sure he went to Inkster.

1 year 34 weeks ago	Huh	I thought the OP was a high 4 star, possibly a candidate for a 5th star.  I've been impressed by his in-season posting, he finishes posts and enjoys a good glass of chocolate milk after a workout.

1 year 35 weeks ago	If you want to be nitty about it..	"Misopogon already calculated this but it's something I was going to do anyway: runs from under center averaged 2.3 yards. Runs from the shotgun averaged 7.5. Small sample sizes apply; they are less small this time around." Misopogon included the Denard 7 yard miracle scramble - designed runs from under center gained more like 1.2 yards per play.  4 or 5 carries, 5 or 6 yards depending on what you do with Hopkins goal line oh noes. That's pretty much the definition of small sample size.
