Brady Hoke's Car? Please Be True
If this Maize Mustang parked in Brady Hoke's parking spot is indeed his car, that would be tremendous, indeed. As Seth aptly noted:
It only runs Power. (via @MGoJen via @PlannedSickDays via Reddit): http://t.co/W8MFd0JLJ9

Same with me. Brady doesn't strike me as a guy who wants a fancy car like this, so I don't think it's his.

It's a fancy Mustang I meant, not a fancy car in general. Way to nitpick though.
Over-wrought works. Riced-out does, too.
I'd say at the very least even odds it has a single tailpipe and a V6. If someone had the money to pimp a V8 Mustang, odds are it would have come from the factory with a Cobra or a Mach 1 logo on it. Or at the very least the California Special appearance package.

I don't think I've ever thought about Hoke's car, but I guess I've always just assumed at an implicit level that Hoke drove a 1988 Buick Century.
This assumption may or may not be based in the fact that that is what I drove in high school and college, after my Grandma bought herself a new car.
*Clarification: The picture is not of my beloved car, The Rusty Jones, but is simply a Google Image Search result.
That looks like the resident pedophile mobile I could see Sandusky creeping around in. Always thought Hoke would roll around in an old Jeep Cherokee or SUV.

...Laura Hoke's ride... she dropped by to bring lunch for Brady. Brady spends his commute time calling recruits and watching game film.

gotta say that that was the one thing that I want to call Coach Carr out on.. .he drove a Lexus SUV, meanwhile the Motor City and the area was going through its worst period ever... really coach? Couldnt you have driven a Lincoln or a Cadillac? I always thought that wasn't conscientious.
and he was wearing shoes made in China! OMG!

thats totally different.... the entire Detroit economy wasn't based on mens shoes... whoever negged me, then F U because that is not flamebait, rather, it is a genuine thought. This message, however is flamebait.
As noted below, he also had a Ford.
It's not about where your car was made, it's about who own the company and where the money is going.

Perhaps Mrs. Hoke let him borrow her car for the day.

But Hoke graduated from college in 1980, which must have been a downer since Ford had already started to release smaller, wimpy versions of the Mustang.
Year 2000-ish Mustangs are back to more muscle, but still sort of 'meh" when you compare the design to the glory days of kick ass muscle, premium leaded gasoline, loud exhaust systems and blowing everyone's doors off:

Damn you, Marcus. I just drooled all over my keyboard!

I had one identical to that. One more thing I should never have gotten rid of. Later, I'm off to drown myself again.
Your drowning yourself technique is flawed.
You seem to know a lot about this. How about showing me the right way?
About 20 years ago, I had a 69 Mustang convertible, medium blue with white top (sorry, no pics). Loved it and wish I had kept it.
I used to own a '69 Mach I. It had a 351 Cleveland engine in it with a Hurst shifter. Pretty nice, I kept meaning to fix it up but never could get around to it. Sold it to a guy who was into doing restos.
302 w/ Hooker headers.
That. Cripes, the Mustang's V6 puts out 305 HP nowadays. Makes me wish I was about 10 years old right now. By the time I was old enough to drive, I could buy a used Mustang or Camaro, or a ton of other cars with 300-400 hp. When I was a kid, the used American cars didn't have much muscle. Good to see things back to where they should be.

Maybe this was the "big news" hinted at last weekend?

You of all people would know, Heiko. BFFs

As does Mattison - have seen them in their neighboring spots in front of Schembechler.
A large SUV, seems like the right kind of car for a HC.
I think one of the local dealers donates them. It's white late model Tahoe central in front of Crisler as well, with everyone but Beilein having one. You see the occasional other largeish Chevy SUV as well. Beilein has a Lincoln Navigator. I also they also all have personal cars as well, otherwise it means K Arico Barnes lived there for a 5 day stretch because her SUV never moved (or she shows up every day and parked it on the same angle).

Carr used to drive a blue Trailblazer with a rose on the side of it.
