BHGP: Ohio State version
That is a masterpiece for a finale. BHGP, just drop the mic and walk away.
The Hieronymous Bosch touch was pure genius.
Brutus, No!
Don't want to give it all away...but you have to check out their painting key. I thought Pryor cooking in gold pants would be my fav, till I got to John Cooper...
with the bottom one.
Excellent finale.
Very Very Awesome. loved the part where Woody is punching Charlie Baumen over and over but feels the pain himself.
Awesome.
Although I am a little disappointed he didn't put any tattoos on the model.
It's all tattoos.
(OK, they didn't SAY that...but I like to think it.)
They could have with real lame trashy tattoos or decals like that Calvin & Hobbs logo of Calvin pissing on stuff like the block M that it is seems like half of Ohio owns...but I like this better.
But skin....well...that makes the placement of the bagpipes rather...unnerving.
Stunning.
Ohio State hell: Needs more Cooper. But absolutely spectacular!
Ain't that the truth
My favorite parts:
-The zombie Illibuck (which "provides all the punishment Illinois failed to deliver to Ohio State fans in the temporal plane")
-The bagpipe forever playing "The Victors."
-"Woody Hayes punches Clemson's Charlie Bauman for all eternity, but experiences the pain of every blow himself."
Absolutely outstanding. Definitely click through, worth the read.

When asked if he thought he was perhaps being too hard on the Ohio State faithful, Polyblend held firm: "There may be a few relatively innocent people in the crowd -- children too young to know better, spouses who are just humoring their husbands, foreign exchange students -- but for the most part these are people who are fully aware of what they are doing. They are freely cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes."
Polyblend sighed and took a drag on his Gaulois. "I mean, who does that? It's like cheering for the Luftwaffe."
A phenomenal piece of comedic writing, that.
The devil that dots the I is the ASU devil, the school that sent John Cooper to the Buckeyes.
and beat Cooper in the 1997 Rose Bowl.
Jake the Snake had his 2nd ranked Sun Devils poised for a perfect season and likely national championship (#1 FSU was the only other undefeated squad but they lost in a rematch with eventual champs #3 Florida in the Sugar Bowl), but the Buckeyes trashed those hopes with a late TD drive to win 20-17. Small redemption for Cooper, who had his own undefeated season/title hopes spoiled in the Game just 5 weeks earlier in Columbus.
Cooper became the first coach to win the Rose Bowl with a Pac Ten team and a Big Ten team.
But we don't talk about that.
It really doesn't get any better than this.
"That guy you know who" on the helmet is just awesome. Another favorite was the "talk show callers". I feel bad for anyone that does not discover this gem.
You forgot the tag, 100% Pure Colombian Awesomeness
You're right, fixed. I can't believe I forgot that.
Now with even MORE double meaning!
Polyblend believes he has discovered a new variety of sin to add to the traditional categories of mortal and venial: Columbian, after the center of all that is irritating and sick in the college football universe, Columbus, Ohio.
I just sorta drooled. That awestruck stuper was replaced with a lenghty firm belly laugh that ended in tears. This was indeed extremely funny and reflects the opinions of so many people who follow college football.
The funniest part: the sign that says "THE abode of the damned". Thats just funny stuff.
linking Gahanna with THE "actual" Gates of Hell (due to the Gahenna/Gahanna thing) - this came up with a psychic on the Phil Donahue show in the 80s: http://bulletin.kenyon.edu/x3210.xml
Well, everyone knew this was coming. They saved the best for last. Bravo BHGP.
...an open fire for all eternity sounds like it should be turned into a holiday standard. If the holiday was The Game.
Another Iowa blog's fine contribution to differentiating the Big 10 teams.

Love, love, the Wisky entry.
Wow. That is classic. Each one is just about dead on.
I'm not sure which is better, the cars or the unies. Both are pretty freaking inspired.
That was freaking great.
Ohio State should have been a corvette. Fucking Terrelle Fucking Pryor.
truly outstanding.
What a fabulous writer and what a great series.
While I'm not going to bucknuts to see the reaction, the are some gems over at 11W:
Seems like this so called "artist" has some real issues. If that pic of him is legit, I seriously question how he can question anyone for wearing OSU garb
Obviously, you're not a golfer.
My only concern is that I may no longer be capable of eating Rotel queso without conjuring a mental image of "that guy" and then becoming violently ill. Damn your fiendish humor BHGP.
as someone that lives in ohio,i thank God for this.
That is a perfect way to finish the series. Could've gone with a tattoo theme, would've been very easy, but swung for the fences instead and won the Internet.
This is 100% pure Charlie Sheen: "WINNER!!!"
Funny to see that even way out in Iowa, they too can see the truth about tSIO fans. You'd almost think a UM fan wrote all that.
The "paintings" are the best work I have ever seen in a sports blog. I am very, very impressed. I am really glad he saved the best for a school that so richly deserves it.
All of the Pro Combat jerseys have been hilarious, but this one in particular was awesome.
