Such great, great joy.

Also, I know there are threads and threads that ask "what makes a Michigan man?". I still don't have an answer, but am pretty damn sure that Hunwick qualifies.

It's time to play the music

good for Hunwick. boys played with extra effort for him. Caparusso's a big-time player. I'm so excited for this team.

FWIW North Dakota is up on SCSU in the 3rd in the WCHA finals. If they hold on, Ferris and MSU will tie for the sad panda award, first teams out of the tourney (Alaska, Northern, and Miami will all be in).

And at 11:30 tomorrow during the selection show, there's going to be one No. 1 seed that's awfully pissed at having to play us in the first round.

NoDak and BC win, so according to Moy's Bracketology at uscho.com, we're going to be a #3 seed. This means we should get either NoDak, St Cloud St (How much for your women? Sell them to me. Sell me your children), Cornell, or Bemidji St. Have to wait until the brackets are announced tomorrow for locale and exact opponent as the committee may mix thing up to get good attendance at sites, especially with Alaska making the field.

It's a new book, and that book is called ~How the Hunwick Saved Hockey Christmas~

20 straight. 20 straight. Two wins from Ford Field.

By the way, after Northern Michigan scored, I do not know I have ever been in an arena that was more tense and more amped up. Great atmosphere, great fans, and tremendous, and I do me tremendous defensive efforts by every single player in blue tonight.

New era, new hope, and one simple question: "Why not us? Why not now?"

As they said in the CHN game story:

Cinderella has officially become the 600-pound beast with nine previous national championships on selection Sunday.
