This particular story focused on Jack and Co. We learned as much about The Island through them and other periphery characters (Richard, Jacob), but in the end the story was about telling Jack and Co's story, not The Island's.
No, we needed those games to let our guard down. To say to ourselves the we were "only playing with house money" so that the dong punch could be as effective as it was.
So, I heard a lot of the NW coach's bitching last night. He would occasionally pepper in some f-bombs, so that could have been what got him T-ed up, but I didn't hear what he said exactly.
And since the Pep Band-Maize Rage ended in a tie thanks to a last second 3, I'm hoping for a rematch on Sunday. That was one of the most entertaining halftime shows I've seen all year.
Working at the scorer's table (I'm the stats guy on the computer). I can second how frustrating it was to walk in the arena on Sunday to a house of mostly Toledo fans. It was even worse when Coach Borseth took Krista Phillips out for a deserved ovation (22 pts, 11 reb, 2 blk) and she was showered with boos from the Toledo faithful behind me.

We'd be tied for 12th with Ferris State, Alaska-DeathBear, and Vermont. Ferris State and Alaska get in to the tournament as the ninth and tenth at-larges over Vermont, as both own comparisons over Vermont.
So, Sacred Heart and UAH are both 4-seeds, and we own comparison wins over both Ferris State and Alaska, so we'd be the last 3-seed instead of a 4-seed, if I'm looking at this right. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
