Brian Kelly is an amazing super spectacular coach and should be at Notre Dame forever and ever and ever.
Amen.
Ah yes, Forever and Ever Amen. One of the world's *insert adjective here* tunes.
That depends on John Harbaugh's contract.
There was some whispy smoke swirling around but I wouldn't get too excited. It's gonna take bad seasons from ND and the Ravens. Only one of those are likely. I'm guessing Baltimore sucks while ND turns in an 8-4 season - which strangely enough seems to satisfy the Figthins these days (ACADEMICS AND STANDARDS!).
4-8 Million?
Notre Dame is basically what we would have been in 2014 if we didn't have Harbaugh to hope for.
What the shit!? And he's probably still getting paid by Kansas too, so somewhere in the the neighborhood of $25m+ to NOT coach football???? Guys, this man is a genius, plain and simple.
His biggest "win" was a loss to USC.
The man could sell it.
That will buy Charlie a lot of Golden Corrals. Like an entire district.
For references purposes, a person could buy 4,485,270 Big Macs with that much money, assuming 6% sales tax...
That would feed Weis for days!
If you're buying 4MM+ Big Macs and paying full menu price, you're as bad at business as Charlie Weis is at coaching.
Well, let's not be ridiculous. I was thinking 4 Big Macs per day for 3,070 years. Not all at once, they'd get cold!
They'll never spoil though...so you could buy them all at once for the volume discount then consume them at your leisure over the years.
Don't worry; there are plenty of teachers who are no better at their jobs than Weis was at his.
because we have the 6th highest per-capita annual income at $15,500, & god didn't curse Liberia because they have the lowest income at $118.
Every teacher is paid a "living wage". Many teachers are paid 6 figures. None of them got into it because it is lucrative.
$20-$30k per year?
He earned it .LoL.
We laugh now, but Notre Dame looked pretty damned smart locking down his services long term after that epic win over USC.
What? Oh yeah ... that's right. I mean that epic loss to USC.
So yeah, we were laughing then, too.
Can't believe this was almost 11 years ago...
$2.2 million?? Even Dave Brandon in all his glory was just skimming $1 million.
I would just like to put it out there that if you are on this board and are an AD looking for a football coach with an overly thought scheme that is ultimately doomed to failure, I would like to get some mailing information so that I might submit my resume and salary expectations. My coaching experience is limited to baseball, if this helps.
but I more appreciated his insights on velociraptors.
How many times will your team kick off against Michigan on Saturday?
