OT: OK State bowl rings say loss to CMU didn't happen
AHEM....
Which gif is most overplayed? This will be interesting to watch . . .
So you're tired of seeing Jessica Alba summon you to bed? Because it's never happened other than that gif. That gif will never get old!
I never grow tired of this gif, or your avatar pic for that matter...

Oh it definitely happened. They should make a trip up to Mt. Pleasant if they want redemption. I know CMU would be down for that. If they aren't willing to do that they should just shut their sore loser faces and move on.
Yes, in 2015. Clearly a rubber match is needed since OK State is insisting on changing the history books.
Maybe OK State is staying away from Baylor.
A meaningless bowl game is just vacation if you beat your biggest rival. I hope Harbaugh gets this petty and starts giving out Gold Jersey's when we beat Ohio State.
Almost as emabarrassing as getting gold pants
They had no business letting a MAC team hang around enough to win on a bad call in the first place.
They should be docked 2 losses for that
Right Spartan Bob?
Actually we won the Big Ten in 1990 anyway (though we didn't go to Pasadena).
They won the game except for the refs giving CMU an incorrect final play. Is this a little petty? Sure. Would I support this if I was an Okie State fan? Suuure
Armando Galarraga's perfect game? Disappeared like a fart in the wind. Officiating can be absolutely maddening. Right David Fizdale?

Where's my 2010 Frozen Four banner?
...did not mean to jump in front of you. Didn't scroll down far enough.
Perhaps, but instead of calling for a pass out of bounds, why didn't Gundy call for his QB to run around and let the final four seconds tick off the clock, and then take a knee? Committing a penalty on the final play of the game is always dicey, and the possibility that the refs won't catch the obscure exception to the rule preventing a game from ending on a penalty is not insignificant. Even after Central Michigan was erroneously given that final untimed play, Oklahoma State had no one to blame but itself for failing to snuff out the Hail Mary. A million things have to go right for the offense in order for a Hail Mary to be successful, and Oklahoma State failed to prevent any of them.

In my eyes they won the game.
That's nothing, you should see OK State's Sweet Sixteen rings . . .
Like a W to me.
As a CMU grad, that play ellicited one of my most impromptu sports yells.
But, nothing will EVER top when the USA scored the goal against Algeria. I'll never have another low to high moment like that.
He's talking about the US Men's National Team and their goal - off the foot of Landon Donovan - in the final minutes against Algeria in the 2010 World Cup.
And I'm right there with him. It was one of my best moments in sports as a fan. I literally went screaming into a couple of neighboring teachers' rooms, running, hollering, jumping. Our principal was having a meeting in one of the rooms. She understood.

I concur! The kids above don't understand because they don't remember - it's not thier fault. Honestly, something to do with Algeria does not rise above mild interest level when greatest national sports competition plays come to mind. Beat England, or Germany, or Brazile, then we can talk...

So I guess the joy I felt from that USA soccer wasn't legit because I wasn't alive in 1980 to see the USA beat Russia in hockey.
Off the high horse bud. I'm 31, not 12.
Beat England, or Germany, or Brazil, then we can talk...
One of these is not like the others...
I don't believe bowl rings are legally binding

According to the rules, OK State let CMU score. The rules say that, even if the refs get it wrong, their decision is binding. No do-overs after the game is called by the officials.
I think people were considering changing the rules so that what actually happened in the CMU game would be what SHOULD happens.
Strong cope from "IM A MAN, IM 40" Mike Gundy with a douchy mullett and a fanbase who beats wood sticks on the stadium walls.
Does this mean Michigan gets to make rings talking about our win over Ohio State? I mean, just like Ok State, the refs screwed us out of a win.
