Hudson played both on return and coverage units. He fielded the short kick to start the 2nd half in fact.

I really hope Clark is back in a few weeks. We need him. Great effort by Defense. Pass Rush is unreal.

I'm very bummed about Clark. His body language was not good. I think it's a significant injury. Hopefully the freshman Long can step up and they have no drop off with him.
Clark was having a very good year. Dammmmmitttt!!!!

Will say it's weird to have such a huge and dominant performance with no meaningful turnovers.

right before the ball strip and interception.

Clark's injury sucked and Jabrill didn't kill a WR screen for their TD. That's about it for negatives.
Welcome back, Taco.

Much respect to Barkley--Franklin put it all on him in the 2nd half, and he got the crap kicked out of him even as he got his yards. Noticed Harbaugh made a point of shaking his hand before leaving the field.
And yeah, poor Clark. Heal up quick!

Also, I really hope Clark's injury isn't season ending.

that was michigan that won 49-10, not penn state you idiot. people that complain because a team wasnt perfect could not have ever played or coached football.

When he was even or next to the QB - he was probably going to get the ball - McSorley didn't really make himself a running threat.
When he was not the ball carrier he was a dangerous receiver on a wheel route, flares or screens. He was covered by LB on some plays and they couldn't stay with him except for the first few seconds. On some plays, Peppers took him.
Basically the defense ended up keying on him.
PSU was totally outplayed and simply didn't have any hopes. Hard to imagine but the game was really over after the first quarter.
GREAT WIN!

Im not expecting a blow out like the at all. But I do think that we can handle Wisconson pretty easily..... I think its a real good match up for us and especially our defence
September 24th, 2016 at 7:44 PM ^
They're also not a team that will test our slot corner, so if Clark's injury is something that doesn't require surgery, it shouldn't be a huge deal. Looked bad though. :(

I love the pressure this year. We almost killed that QB today.
Dominating, smothering performance by our D-line.
Gedeon looks better than any LB last year.
Peppers is being used much more effectively this year IMO - how many TFL's does he have already?
We're slightly more susceptible to deep balls. I'll take that in trade for the devastating pressure. Having Lewis back will minimize those issues.
Attack!

Look, I loved Morgan and Bolden, but let's be honest: all three of this year's LBs are better than what we had last year. Gedeon, McCray, and of course Peppers. I think the scheme helps too.

I was a little worried with him being out for the first three games but he looked fine. Wish he hadn't taken that hit on the kick return from that kicker/battering ram. At one point Griese said Penn State's best play was to throw it up and hope for pass interference. I guess if that's your opposition's best hope, you're playing pretty well.

Great game! Penn States O_Line may have trouble, but it was good to.see them work hard and overwhelm an opponent they had an advantage over.

DIdn't see the final box score, but Wisconsin was averaging just around 3 yards per carry at some point in the 4th quarter. Corey Clement had under 3 yards per carry.
