Unpunished you mean being suspending for a bowl game, the very next game, then yes he was unpunished. Man, I would hate to see what you consider to be punishment.

I think we'll be using our third string QB most of the night. Just to even things out.
January 10th, 2015 at 1:51 AM ^
Don't give us that shit. Cardale would likely start at a lot of schools. The dude has played out of his mind, so don't say, "Oh, well we are down to our third quarterback."
January 10th, 2015 at 11:40 AM ^
Really... you know you didn't actually believe that when you typed it. It's a third string quarterback and the team has still gotten to the pinnacle of the sport. I don't even know if that has ever been done, NFL or NCAA. If so then color me impressed.
January 10th, 2015 at 8:35 AM ^
That extra practice time won't hurt either.
January 9th, 2015 at 9:55 PM ^
I have no love for Ohio State, but they are starting their third-string QB in the National Championship game. Anything that happens to Oregon's starting recievers pales in comparison to that.
If it was us, we'd be starting Bellomy. Oregon would not need any recievers.

I agree, though as a counter if/when Jones struggles (and it could well be in this game), the first response out of OSU fans will be "but we're starting our 3rd-string QB!" Jones has played as well as either of the other two QBs, while Oregon is down their two leading WRs with basically 3-4 days to compensate for the most recent loss.

Ruptured testicles are hilarious. Awesome prank.
January 9th, 2015 at 8:33 PM ^
There's about a .1% chance that ruptured his testicles.
January 9th, 2015 at 8:52 PM ^
Ruptured testicles arre actually a fairly common injury. I've seen them many times in the ER. Baseball players... wear a cup. BMXers... wear a CUP! Parkour "runners"... wear a CUP. And GODDAMNIT YOU SKATER BOARDERS... WEAR A CUP!
Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQRa8v5t4OE
Blunt trauma (a strike) causes about 75% of testicular injuries. Other mishaps can cut or pierce the scrotum and injure the testicles. A rupture only requires a tear in the sctrotal skin. An injury can tear the tough, protective covering surrounding the testicle and damage the testicle. This is called a testicular rupture.
January 9th, 2015 at 8:57 PM ^
Ruptured testicles are not even close to common. As noted by the Cleveland Clinic, it is a "rare type of testicular trauma."

Yes. That's why I cited the Cleveland Clinic.

all those years of hockey, football, baseball, thankful no injuries.

they are not my testicles. Also, that's why I wear a cup at all times.

Their top CB (projected 1st rounder) had already blown out his knee in practice for the Rose bowl. So if the 2nd CB goes really bad vs a potent passing game.

How much you want to bet they'll be back game one next year? If it's Michigan, it's a one year suspension.

So Oregon will be missing their top two receivers, their top TE, their All-American CB, and on top of that, OSU gets extra practice time. If there is better evidence that karma does not exist, I'd like to see it.

Well, we are missing two top 5 Heisman QBs?
January 9th, 2015 at 10:02 PM ^
Your helmet stickers look like marijuana leaves. Not fair to tempt the Oregon players like that.
January 9th, 2015 at 10:29 PM ^
for that comment.

January 9th, 2015 at 11:50 PM ^
What is a Top 5 Heisman QB? Yes, you're missing the starter at probably the 7th most important position in your offense. That doesn't even come close to what Oregon is facing.
January 10th, 2015 at 8:53 AM ^
And apparently each one you find is better than the last. Me thinks Meyer's offense may transfer okay QBs into stat machines. Well, except John Brantley, because even Meyer isn't a miracle worker.

Hill is suppose to be on the trip so that appears to be false.
