Shoot. I guess my potential comment that maybe the guys from WLA found gainful employment is probably also not timely.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||From the letter released by the NCAA 20140522||
"In this case, the conference of the home team must certify that the visiting team's jersey is of a contrasting color."
Not sure if the PDF shows or not. I'm not seeing it, so here is a link.

So if this had been Hoke or Brandon and Hoke publishing these tweets would they have recieved the same warm reception? Or would there have been questions because of Suh's history of dirty play and Winston's list of issues as well? I know what would have been said here had they stopped off in Columbus and the same thing happend, but that is understood, #RIVALRY. I just think the old regime would have gotten blasted a bit, especially for Winston, perhaps more than Suh.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||I said this the other day when the Cracker Barrel came up||
I give Jim Harbaugh credit for his consistency. Cracker Barrel is about as close to khaki as you are going to get in a restaurant.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Maybe the real reason why the Harbaugh hire fell through in 2011||
"One day, two staffers sent home for insufficiently ironed khakis..."
|2 weeks 1 day ago||So||
Now if someone gets mad at Brian, they can create dummy accounts, post questionable picks and either get him in trouble with Google or make the mods clean up. Is it possible to mass delete from a specific user?
|2 weeks 3 days ago||Which is worse?||
The Bengals who got to the Super twice but lost and haven't got out of the first round of the playoffs since, iirc. Or the Browns? The Bengals get their fans hopes up until January. The Browns at least have the decency to let their fans know by late October, if not sooner, they are out of it.

Cracker Barrel is probably as close as you can get to khaki's in food.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||I think he bears a striking resemblence to this guy||
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Anyone else think it wasn't a coincidence||
that the new fight song presentation coincided with an active shooter presentation. I say good contignecy planning on the part of the CSG just in case they decide to vote for this.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Eminem needs to respect artistry||
and he should give this song to Moby.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||We did lose to Va Tech||
We had several close wins. We were the four seed and barely got into the playoffs. There is room to improve and we have a lot of key players coming back, so I can still see an upward trend.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||It may have been worse for us||
Cooper's teams were good. They were talented and won a lot of games, except Michigan and to an extent the bowl games. From a rivalry POV I think it was worse because those were games we should have won. Much of the last 10 years, your teams were not very good, at least by Michigan standards so while many OSU fans enjoy the general misery of Michigan fans after losses to teams like App State and Utah, I know at least for me I would rather we play an undefeated Michigan and be the ones to ruin your near perfect season.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||I concur||
While I would love for it to be true, I agree that this year if we could have been more convincing we would have. And last year if he was trying to keep it close to keep Hoke around he did too good of a job. I think Meyer has a little Cooper in him when it comes to Michigan and he coaches and the team plays a little too tight.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Or||
SUperiOr. Just saying. And highly likely, if our cheerleaders carried flags on the field with OSU instead of OHIO, that might be the order the letters come out.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Some folks like to be outside the echo chamber||
I read OSU sites, but rarely post. I already know how I feel about Ohio State and I talk with fellow Buckeyes at work and with family and listen to local sports radio, so online I tend to go to rival websites to get a different perspective. I agree this was nice trolling by Harbaugh, and that he got a reaction (I wonder if there is one at the Bruin's sites as well) says more about the folks reacting to it than the quote itself.
I imagine if Meyer released a quote about glass houses OSU fans would think it was great and you guys would be either defensive or dismissive. It is fun talk to pass away the off season.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Haven't been to NDNation, been officiating a swimming meet||
However, when I get there, I imagine some of them will say no big loss since they don't use their RBs anyhow.
|4 weeks 1 hour ago||Not a blogger||
Just an occasional poster. I would very much like to see Urban apologize to the young man, tell him we still really want him, we do, but if you feel you don't want to be here we won't sto you from leaving.
I have both told emplyers I was leabving when I was staring to look for a job and other times have not. It was situational. One time I was forced to because of security clearance requirements.

|4 weeks 3 days ago||You have a lot of talent on the roster||
Hoke's staff didn't develop them well. I think Harbaugh will be able to rectify that. QB is, of course a question.
The questions is your schedule. Everyone talks about how great it is that you get OSU and MSU at home, I almost think you would be better off to have them on the road and get Minnesota and PSU at home. I'm not saying you can't beat MSU or OSU, but both are returning a lot of guys. Marduzzi leaving may make them more vulnerable. I just think you would be better off if, what I see as potnetial toss up games, were at home.
On the plus side PSU is late in the season so you won't be their 8 pm whiteout game and by that point the youth on the team almost has a season under their belt so it wouldn't be as tough a road game as early October. Kill is bring slightly more than half his starters back. Talent wise and making a way too early prediction, you should win that game. But I would still feel better if it was at home.
But to your point, yes, you need a winning record, but as other have said, in the losses you need to look like you could've won and that is what will get you to the point of looking like a program being built.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||So that explains these direction s to Ann Arbor from Columbus||
North 'til you smell it, West 'til you step in it.
Actually I have been to Ann Arbor a number of times for gymnastics meets my older son took part in. It is very lovely. We usually visits the museums on campus waiting for the afternoon session of his meet to start.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||As I understood it||
The NFL wanted a percentage of the performer's Box Office for concerts after the Super Bowl for a certain period of time. I don't know that they ever released details of the percentage or the time. The NFL's argument is they were helping to promote the performer and wanted a cut.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||Didn't he (hic)?||
That is unfair speculation on my part, but I couldn't resist.
A couple more serious thoughts. I don't know much about the late Millie Schembechler except her death was too soon, relatively quick and from a very rare type of cancer. I know even less about Ann Moeller except for rumors. Did either of them come from "OSU" families? I also think it is a change in the marriage dynamic since the days of Bo and even Gary that husbands consider the impact of career choices on their wives.
I think if the team names were reversed, some of you might have a different opinion.
Finally, perhaps he figures OSU assistants will be moving on and maybe he has a shot in a year or two on Urban's staff and did this interview with an eye towards that objective. But I do agree it seems a little shortsighted and you are probably better off with someone who wants to be there.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||So in today's NFL||
How many games does he sit for the last hit?
|5 weeks 3 days ago||It could have been||
Since the B1G kicked some butt on New Year's Day. But yes, even I knew this was the equivalent of the 10 year old in the back seat asking "Are we there yet?"
And I get it, it is a while before the Spring game and Fall camp and finally kickoff to 2015.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||I can understand why||
I have trouble after losses. You guys have definitely had a rough patch and it was especially bad because it looked like ti was fixed. Gerd, I think, actually did skip a Michigan Monday or two so you may not have missed as many as you thought.
It was his usual evenhandness with possibly less snark than usual. And some chasitising OSU fans who are trying to pooh pooh the hire, though some folks in the comments don't agree with him. Nothing new in the comments, the same stuff you hear from a lot of us.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||On an entirely unrelated topic||
Possibly a record for longest delay in a double post.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||On an entirely unrelated topic||
Gerd has a Michigan Monday up about Harbaugh. I know during the season you often link to them.
|5 weeks 4 days ago||No disrespect to the young man or your staff||
We've all seen teams find guys that went under the radar and had great success with him. I wish the young man nothing but the best. I just found the idea of Nebraska, Texas and UCONN football together kind of funny.
|6 weeks 2 days ago||And then I saw this...||
If posted elsewhere here I missed it.
