This just popped up on my facebook page.

The media is stoking the "fire"

I think we need another.

I have watched him throw like 478 chairs and I keep waiting for him to run out but he doesn't seem to be running out. How did they fit all the chairs under the ring? Is there someone pushing them forward? Is someone taking the thrown chairs, out of camera view, and putting them back underneath? Won't this guy get tired, or is he on PED's? WILL IT NEVER END? It's like these postings on Harb...
Oh. Point made, Sir.

This article is filled with misinformation and is basically an article whoring for clicks. First, the Coke thing was for two bottles and was allegedly a mistake. Secondly, Florio alleges that the Michigan job "won't be open every few years." Unfortunately, it has been. Thirdly, if Harbaugh wants to stay in the NFL, he will have ample opportunity to. Everyone is already calling the Niners season before it's over and to a lesser extent are doing the same to Michigan. No one has the integrity to let things play out anymore.

Here is the thing about the "Coke thing". It doesnt matter that it was a mistake. Even if it was. Or wasn't. It's already a national meme about UM football. And will be going forward. That's the problem with pandora. It's out the box, opposing fan bases and the media will use it as a slight from here on out. So get used to it; you can try to explain it to people until you are blue in the face - all you will hear back is "nah nah nah coke coke coke".

Someone from work gave me a coke today. I was not amused.

Saying "it was a mistake" doesn't excuse fuck-ups. We know it was a mistake, that's why people are pissed. I'm sure Charles Manson would describe his late-60's escapades as "a mistake" but it doesn't mean we should let him roam the streets with a swastika carved into his forehead.

Seems to be gaining "momentum" though. Considering the "ground and pound" talent on the roster. Harbaugh would be just perfect.
September 23rd, 2014 at 7:54 PM ^
By the way, did you hear that Craig James allegedly killed five hookers?
September 24th, 2014 at 2:12 AM ^
I shot it on video, but lost the tape. Darn!
September 23rd, 2014 at 5:52 PM ^
Everyone in the media and within the Michigan blogosphere is going to work themselves into a frenzy over the coming months about how this is totally happening and how it makes so much sense...and then Harbaugh will go sign with any of the 15 NFL teams that want him, or re-sign with SF.
Most of these things are just regurgitations of what we all HOPE, not anything with real insight. Nothing wrong with speculation I guess, but I'll get excited when Harbaugh indicates in any way that he is interested in this job...

I agree. But I figured that Team 136 would win anyway because the schedule sets up favorably. 2015 was always thought of as the "THE YEAR"

He'd win 14, including the national championship. And he'd blow rainbows up our butts. And I would be happy with both the NC and the rainbows.

Obviously the ultimate call would be John Harbaugh's to make, but Mattision is not the problem here. If Mattison wanted to stay and Harbaugh wanted to keep him, why not?

I believe that you may have miscalculated the odds. Forget to move a couple of decimal spaces maybe.

Great Idea!
Dave Brandon should invite the 1984-1985 team back for their 30th anniversary homecoming Oct 11th vs PSU.
The 49ers are at St. Louis Monday Oct 13th. Saturday the 11th is likely a light practice day...and UTL 3 vs Penn St.
Fireworks!

will they need to buy their tickets at full price, like Taylor's crew?

And Woodson will become the DB coach when he retires after this season. Brady will be the QB coach when he retires in a few years. Jake Long is going to retire early to coach the OL. Desmond Howard will coach the WR's. It's gonna be awesome. Because sources.

Could Charles run the wildcat with both Jim and John in the backfield?
September 23rd, 2014 at 6:49 PM ^
Jim Harbaugh is a world class jerk. The only reason he'd be available would be if he's so pissed off and alienated everyone in the 49ers organization and they can't stand him enough that they want him out the door despite the success on the field. For an NFL franchise to potentially be at that point tells you a lot about a person. We don't want Jim Harbaugh.

I don't think he is too high up on Jim Schwatz's list either.
September 23rd, 2014 at 7:36 PM ^
This is all premature. I hope (with my heart, not my head), that Coach Hoke turns it around. But should that not happen and in the unlikely event he would be interested, I would not be included in the "we" that would not want Harbaugh.

So was Bo. He had plenty of detractors and enemies, especially in the Big Ten.
But he won. I would love it if Harbaugh came here, shot off his mouth, ran his game the way he runs it.
I would love it. I doubt it's gonna happen. If I believed in magical supernatural deities, I would pray to them. So I just have to hope for the best.

He's a jerk.
How much more humble pie has to be force fed to you before you don't care?
Do we really not have clarity yet?
