Kentucky or Louisville?
Simple question though likely a complex answer, who do you prefer we play on Sunday? This isn't over who is likely to win today, but more who do we match up better against?
EDIT: My thought is that I would rather Michigan play Kentucky, the reasoning being that a barrage of 3's and a strong first half attack might rattle a young Kentucky team, whereas a great coach like Pitino will have better prepared his team to rally. That said Kentucky's talent is scary and it appears they are playing to form.

Oh right, also, Louisville is just better, so we want Kentucky to win.

Pressure is a problem. They know us from last year, so prep is easier for them. They have been there and won it, so no pressure for them.
I don't think it is going to matter what we want, because I think UL beats UK by double digits tonight.

The announcers for the MSU game just said Izzo is one of their favorite people in the whole world. Nice objectivity. Not saying a word about Virginia.

Louisville. No doubt about it.

multiple NCAA rule violater and total prick vs multiple NCAA rule violater and adulterer
Tough call

i don't recall any serious ncaa infractions for his teams. the kentucky problems were before pitino. no issues at providence that i recall either.

michigan tried to hire pitino but he picked louisville, remember? no way UM hires a cheater after our scandal.

Eddie Sutton was the coach who made the big mess at Kentucky, IIRC.

Louisville. Any time Calipari gets his greasy ass beat is a good time.
And yes, I know Pitino isn't exactly Mr. Clean, but he's my favorite crooked coach in the NCAA.

Coach B eats subs. Rick P lasts 15 seconds.

Louisville up 18-5 with 11 minutes left in the half....

I would love UK because I think they are the easier out, but this feels like a rematch all the way.

is awfully good. I really think Michigan's as good as any of them, just comes down to the little things in all those match-ups

uk - uk/lou is as big as it gets for them. you hope whoever wins it has a big let down sunday. likelier to happen on a team full of freshman.

Tennessee game turned out to be a perfect prep for Louisville. The sloppiness against pressure D provides JB plenty of teaching points to prepare for Louisville's pressure.

I want Kentucky. Don't think they're disciplined defensively enough to hang with us. That said, if we do get Kentucky, it'd be awesome if Julius Randle goes pro right before the game. That kid is a monster.

Nah. As Beilein pointed out in the presser, having to inbound from a dead spot 4-5 straight times is difficult on lots of teams. You only have so many plays, and unless you totally shift how you handle those situations in the tourney, you need to go with your playbook and just try to execute. It was a bad series to end the game, but Louisville couldn't really hurt UM that much last year, and over the whole game a team like UM will adjust.

Louisville is a three-man team: Smith, Harell, and Hancock. If you get anyone of those guys in foul trouble, you're going to beat Louisville.

Sounds like Cauley-Stein might be out. With Kentucky down a 7-footer that makes them a little less scary.

Do you root for MSU for the Big Ten to get 3 into the Elite 8, or do you root for Virginia to shut up the Spartan lovefest?
