I completely agree, pretty much across the board with you here. I think Dekeyser will be great (no, not the 2nd coming of Lidstrom, not sure where the other responder got that from your post). He was sorely missed in the past 2 games. But I think some of these guys (Lashoff, Smith, even Kindl sometimes) are too young and not quite ready to take over. So we need some older guys that can help teach and coach them while they bounce back and forth between GR and DET next season (a FULL season). They haven't shown they're ready to be full time players at the NHL level yet. It's just unfortunate we're in this situation right now, but it is what it is. Get rid of Quincy and bring in 2 seasoned good defensemen. |

It's sad to think a defensemen that has only been in the NHL since April 5, had that big of an impact not playing. If Dekeyser was playing this whole series, it would be a much different story. He's Excellent getting the puck out of the zone. We missed that on the lower d pairings. Back at it on Friday. Must win. |

I know everyone is a HUGE Apple fan, but there are some other choices. The gap between the Mac and the rest of the field has dramatically decreased. I have both Apple products and Dell products and there are advantages to both. I like my XPS tablet better than the iPad, but I like our iMac better than our Dell desktop. XPS is the way to go if you're doing video (if you choose Dell). Hope this helps a bit. |

No question. That was one of the biggest moments in the tournament by an individual player. Especially by one with as much of a microscope on him as Burke. Burke is the only POY finalist that's still playing. If he wasn't already the leading candidate going into last night, he certainly just sealed the deal with that performance. |

I really like our matchup with these guys. The only advantage I can see is Murphy vs GRIII. I think our bigs can hang with Patric Young (as long as we box out). But, I don't see a ton of athleticism out of Murphy, he just plays sound bball. If GRIII can find his defensive rhythm throuh his athleticism, I think we can cruise by. Hit the open shots they give us, get the defensive rebounds (limit their offensive rebounds, they thrive off of those) and a few offensive rebounds and I think we can win by 10 points. |

I live in SEC country, so there would be no better feeling than to have 4 B1G teams in the Elite 8. Especially when they were whining about not getting the respect they "deserved." I can dream that we would have an all B1G Final Four with UofM winning it all against OSU, but, not sure that's going to happen. As long as we go further than MSU, I'm happy. |

Did the "Havoc" get the flu from Akron on Thursday? I don't think we even played our best game (except for McGary). We missed a ton of open 3s and small easy buckets. If we shot like we usually do, this would have been over before half. A Great win. And i can't wait for Barkley to eat his words about the B1G being overrated.
now who do we want to win tomorrow? Kansas or UNC? I'm pulling for UNC because I think we match up better against them. |
