I found WolverineDevotee next house
I found WolverineDevotee next house and he doesn't even need to paint or decorate it when he moves in. Or, I found WD lost family, I'm not sure which one yet. The only thing this house is missing is a few Super Guides.

Someone's single, my wife says it has to stay in the basement and can't come up the stairway

My mother in law lives in Hamilton. Nice area as Jim Price would say.
I would kill for one of the ranch homes in the shadow of Lambeau Field. Lots of the ones with views of the stadium are going for millions.

That house is selling in Hamilton, Michigan. I also enjoyed Hamilton the musical. :)

Isn't Cincy in Hamilton County?
February 18th, 2020 at 12:12 PM ^
It is, and Hamilton, OH is a smallish town just North-West of Cincy. I live in Brown County, East of Cincinnati.
February 18th, 2020 at 1:00 PM ^
and the kitchen appears to have a Hamilton Beach popcorn popper!
None dare call it conspiracy!
February 18th, 2020 at 7:54 AM ^
seems like a cool place, but if you're gonna show it, you gotta declutter.
February 18th, 2020 at 9:05 AM ^
The only way for them to declutter is to move out.
When we sold our house about two years ago, we moved a bunch of crap into the garage and parked on the street. It wound up costing us some money (tree fell on the damn car in a storm) but on the other hand we got over our asking price. It was good prep for living in our current place, which is smaller.
These people, though...

It gives me the anxiety just looking at it... couldn't imagine walking through it!
February 18th, 2020 at 9:30 AM ^
Ummm...I think they did.
February 18th, 2020 at 11:49 AM ^
I didn't notice any clutter.
February 18th, 2020 at 8:06 AM ^
Holy shit. I saw the outside and thought, "this could be interesting." But I did not expect THAT.

House is a giant away game maize uni
February 18th, 2020 at 7:46 PM ^
Are we really sure this ISN’T WD’s house?
I didn’t see in the closet it there was any MDen clothing...
February 18th, 2020 at 8:08 AM ^
The best part of this house is the portrait of Abraham Lincoln in the 3rd picture. It's pretty much the only non-Michigan related decoration in the entire house lmao
February 18th, 2020 at 9:20 AM ^
You'd think that if they were going to go with a presidential portrait they would have picked Gerald Ford.
February 18th, 2020 at 10:53 AM ^
Anyone eccentric enough to own this house might also still be unable to forgive Ford for that 1-7 season in 1934.
February 18th, 2020 at 2:45 PM ^
Well, there's a Brady Hoke pic prominently displayed in the kitchen...
February 18th, 2020 at 7:59 PM ^
Not far from Peanuts plate with Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown.
February 18th, 2020 at 11:49 AM ^
That's spot on.
That's the glitch in the matrix right there.
February 18th, 2020 at 8:08 AM ^
That could be his current home!

Yuck... I hate open-plan kitchens

Something, something, countertops!
February 18th, 2020 at 8:21 AM ^
Horde much? Also should have reversed the outside paint scheme - dark blue with yellow trim would have looked better IMO.
February 18th, 2020 at 10:24 AM ^
Q. What did the orc say to Saruman?
A. "Horde much?"

This is my house that I just finished building. We still have to change some of the white to yellow. The inside is full of Michigan stuff.
February 18th, 2020 at 8:29 AM ^
SOLD!
February 18th, 2020 at 8:30 AM ^
That must be a fun house hold post OSU games.

Hoarders: Michigan Edition
February 18th, 2020 at 8:43 AM ^
Very cool. We just moved into our apartment though and have Michiganized it in every room. Including a large fathead of the Go Blue Banner in the hall that we run and jump up to touch as the hall is a straight line to our front door. It’s perfect.
I want an 80s style 2 story house with the garage connected to it. Painted Blue with Maize shutters. 20 foot flag pole and that giant 6x10 foot flag hanging on the ceiling at MDen in the front yard.
Getting married at The Big House is our next step in the next few years.

You found the right woman for you. Good for you WD.
February 18th, 2020 at 8:44 AM ^
That stove, though.
February 18th, 2020 at 9:47 AM ^
Exactly, where are the Block M burner covers??
February 18th, 2020 at 8:44 AM ^
On the next episode of Hoarders..
February 18th, 2020 at 8:49 AM ^
As much as I appreciate all the Michigan memorabilia in the house, there is a ton of updating that needs to be done. The walls need to be stripped of all paper and painted. The kitchen appears to need a full update across the board. Also, hoarders don't normally take great care of everything in their home, so I don't even want to know the things that will need fixed that we cannot see in pictures.
February 18th, 2020 at 9:21 AM ^
Everything about that house needs to be changed.
February 18th, 2020 at 9:40 AM ^
I have to respectfully disagree with the hoarding comments. It's obsessive but the level of detail to the layout of the items is actually impressive. I don't think they arranged those mugs just for the pictures, I have a feeling they are like that all of the time. If you look at the actual aspects of the house they seem well cared for, although outdated.
February 18th, 2020 at 9:44 AM ^
I do love that the only thing in the house that appears to have been updated in the last half century is the bathroom. It's as though they read that kitchens and bathrooms sell houses - I'm just not sure that will apply in this particular case.
February 18th, 2020 at 11:47 AM ^
I tried to strip paper from our current house. It's a horrible job. After doing the entryway I just painted the wallpaper in the other rooms. If you seal it up with oil-based primer first it looks fine and holds up. The problem with stripping wallpaper is that you basically have to put a skim coat of drywall mud over the entire wall once the paper is off because the removal process pits the drywall underneath horribly.
February 18th, 2020 at 12:37 PM ^
The key is to cover the wallpaper with light painters plastic after you spray it with the wallpaper removal spray/water/ whatever mixture you decide on. Let it sit for 30 minutes or so and it comes off much easier
February 18th, 2020 at 8:53 AM ^
HFS. Go Blue and all, but as others have noted, the clutter and signs of mild hoarding are headache-inducing.
February 18th, 2020 at 8:54 AM ^
Wait, are we sure that this isn't WD's house?
Just kidding. Too many split block Ms and not enough Jumpman.
February 18th, 2020 at 9:01 AM ^
Tiger Stadium seats in the final pic are out of place.
February 18th, 2020 at 4:09 PM ^
Unless they received them from Bo while he was the Tigers President.
