I think we are still one of the top 8 or so teams in the land. With a great shot to win it all. And if we get UM again in the NCAAT I bet we beat them.
Langford, JJJ, and Ward will all play better vs non-B1G teams, Winston was ok overall (but didn’t get worked all game like he did in the first match-up). And Bridges figured some shit out in the second half – got to the paint off the dribble a few times, got to the offensive glass, and did good work in the post. McQuaid is taking and making big shots (which is huge) and playing great D, Schilling and Tillman are reliable off the bench, and Tum has defended well too.
I am supremely confident that we get to the FF and that we win it all.
This MSU season has been national championship or bust. No more room for error now. This is Izzo’s most talented team, maybe the most talented in the country, but they’ve brought their A-game twice in the past 11 games.

The guy who said they have the better team is wrong obviously. Got their asses kicked twice. They are just a little more atheltic with only a few of their guys. Basketball is a lot more than just athleticism. I'd take that team a few years back with Payne and Appling over this one. They were tough all around players. Michigan kicked their asses usually then too though.
I'm just glad that the B1G conference finals features two schools that didn't close ranks behind a serial molester to protect their brand.

I knew after shooting as shitty as we did in the first half and being down by only Three we would destroy them in the 2nd half. Was so awesome to watch them crumble and have no answers to stop us. I think the best was that the Clunker MAAR threw up and went in. That was Rightious for all the lucky breaks Msu has gotten the past few years!

I mean, Michigan fans are this shitty on twitter as well. But it is fun watching the realization that for all of their talent (and I particularly chortled at the "maybe the most talented team in the country" when freaking Tum Tum and Matt McQuaid are your top bench guys), Izzo just isn't that great of a coach. He's been living off that one title for almost two decades, and for all the "Mr. March" talk it's really been one or two deep runs with a lot of 1- or 2-game runs.
They didn't. They played UM, PU, OSU, UN, and PSU all once. The other top 5 teams in the conference.
The only one of those that was on the road was OSU. Which they lost by 16 points.
