I grew up in Grand Rapids, but I've been in Houston for 5 years now (and Texas for almost 8 years). Houston's a great place: easy-going and a growing city, and no state income tax makes it hard to consider moving elsewhere.

edit...in all seriousness. I grew up in Dearborn, moved to Chicago in 1991 after graduation and now live in St. Charles, Illinois (about 40 miles straight west of the city). I'm a football season ticket holder and I make the drive for 90% of all home games....plus many road games. Another benefit of living in Chicago! Go Blue

Lived in St Charles for 8 years after school before moving to Glen Ellyn (wife works in the city, I work in Geneva, so split the difference after we got married). Great area, and the relative convenience for home and away games is great
