OT-ish/Rivalry update: Injury report for Ohio State includes 9 players (RB Henderson, and WR Smith-Njigba out)
Ohio State releases their official injury report.
A total of 9 players included, most notably 3 of their RBs are out (Henderson, Evan Pryor, and TC Caffey), and WR Jaxon is officially out. Starting RG Matt Jones who was injured last week is a "game-time decision."

OT-ish? This directly relates to the game we're playing today.

Completely agree, but that's a minor gripe considering OP gave us some genuinely useful information and provided a link. Upvote-worthy post for sure.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:33 AM ^
Ummm… so… 🤔
the game time decision is about a guard.. and OSU’s guards are tackle-shaped… hence, they’re OT-ish.
That’s about all I’ve got, given that the OSU injury report, this week, is about as on-topic as it gets. 🤣
November 26th, 2022 at 10:35 AM ^
Apologies for the bad title then. I usually default to anything that isn't directly about Michigan players as "OT." An error on my part.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:43 AM ^
No problems.
This is SO about Michigan players.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:25 AM ^
Zero chance this is "OT-ish". Thanks for the updates!! Go Blue!
November 26th, 2022 at 10:28 AM ^
Don’t you know pump it up
November 26th, 2022 at 10:28 AM ^
We need every bit of help we can get. It's good we don't have to deal with a healthy JSN in addition to Harrison Jr.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:31 AM ^
Seriously. That's probably a solid 10% swing in win chance.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:30 AM ^
OT means off-topic. The topic is Michigan football. I would venture to say that the status of players we are playing against is decidedly NOT OT.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:31 AM ^
Smith-Njigba is a huge factor. Harrison is very good and they have some other very athletic WRs, but JSN is a phenomal WR. This allows UM to shade a safety to Harrison’s side without too much risk on the other side.
Henderson is also a big deal with his homerun speed. Williams is a bruiser that hopefully turns the game into a grind-it-out battle that UM can win.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:33 AM ^
Agreed. JSN would have been a huge X factor and taken a ton of tools out of Minter's box.
November 26th, 2022 at 11:05 AM ^
Not sure I agree. Might prefer a rusty, less than 100% JSN getting reps over the next 5 star in the pipeline.
November 26th, 2022 at 11:14 AM ^
JSN should have been a Heisman finalist last year and should have been the favorite entering this year not Stroud. And almost single handedly kept them in the game last year.
November 26th, 2022 at 11:32 AM ^
I disagree that a player who has barely played all year with a leg injury would miraculously be able to show up at full speed in the last week of the season
November 26th, 2022 at 11:35 AM ^
Don’t call our defensive players tools
November 26th, 2022 at 10:42 AM ^
Ebuka is a very good player as well, secondary will still have their hands full
November 26th, 2022 at 10:37 AM ^
Count me in the camp that is relieved JSN isn’t playing.

Report from the field in Ohio Stadium via WTKA: Donovan Edwards does indeed have cast on his hand. Morris, Schoonmaker ran out onto the field for warmups.
Corum had not appeared yet, but no explanation why. I hope the prediction that Corum would play wasn't premature.
Sam Webb just said that he expects Corum "to give it a go." That's hardly reassuring. With Edwards wearing a cast, I suspect we see Stokes and Gash before we're very deep in the game.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:39 AM ^
This worries me. We need corum at close to 100% if we are going to have a shot.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:44 AM ^
Arguably our best receiver has a cast on his hand? Super.
November 26th, 2022 at 11:06 AM ^
Ronnie Bell has a cast on his hand, too?
November 26th, 2022 at 10:48 AM ^
As long as Donovan Edwards' cast is not on his throwing hand, we're OK ;)
November 26th, 2022 at 10:57 AM ^
Right hand, unfortunately.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:49 AM ^
Right or left hand?
November 26th, 2022 at 10:58 AM ^
Right hand/thumb, per
November 26th, 2022 at 11:00 AM ^
Don't understand how he's going to play with this on his hand but OK...
November 26th, 2022 at 11:01 AM ^
Rushing should be ok but yeah, catching passes is going to be a struggle
November 26th, 2022 at 11:27 AM ^
He's still a better rusher than Stokes or Gash. But yeah really sucks he can't even threaten to take catches.
November 26th, 2022 at 11:10 AM ^
There’s still almost an hour for it to heal up and have the cast removed.
November 26th, 2022 at 11:27 AM ^
Zuniga says he was a full participant pre-game, including catching balls.
November 26th, 2022 at 11:39 AM ^
Roman Wilson played with a cast in last year's PSU game (and caught 2 TDs).
Also, we know that Edwards catches passes one-handed anyway.

BC is out taking reps. Henning and Keegan are also taking reps. Per Sam Webb.
November 26th, 2022 at 11:30 AM ^
Good news. Maybe BC was late getting onto the field because he was having another piece of pie.

Corum looks OK here:

I hope they heal up and you never wish injuries on anyone, but I’m not sorry Michigan doesn’t have to worry about game planning for them. JSN alone would’ve been a massive headache to worry about, and Marvin Harrison Jr is enough of one by himself.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:45 AM ^
Well, hopefully the game plan was pretty much put together before this report came out.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:42 AM ^
This is huge. We can double up Marvin Harrison without worrying about Smith-Njigba who was a freak against us last year.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:44 AM ^
Other than JSN and TreVeyon, are any of those others listed as unavailable starters or play meaningful time for the Buckeyes?
November 26th, 2022 at 10:58 AM ^
Not really. Matt Jones who is a “game-time decision” and the starting RG got injured last week and taken out of the game then. Looks like he’s not going to be 100%.
The most meaningful otherwise is Evan Pryor who is a RsFr. that was expected to be the 3rd RB behind Henderson and Williams.
November 26th, 2022 at 10:53 AM ^
You double Harrison all day long … the other two are no where near Olave and Wilson good !!!
November 26th, 2022 at 10:57 AM ^
Yeah but they’re good enough to still beat you. Not to the degree that Harrison can but they were the #1 receivers in their class for a reason.
Definitely agree though. Double up Harrison who is a known superstar and make someone else beat you. It’s a bit of a pick your poison, but this one is probably the best route to go.
November 26th, 2022 at 11:15 AM ^
And Corum is brace-free in warmups . . .
November 26th, 2022 at 11:29 AM ^
He does have a brace- tough to see under the all whites, but there’s definitely a brace there
November 26th, 2022 at 11:18 AM ^
JSN being out isn't a surprise but Henderson not even giving it a go is unexpected. They've still got talent in the backfield but he is a good back for them even if OSU fans have soured on him a bit.

I don’t understand what this means.

They tried cloning and it didn't work out so well.
