Thunder/Magnus thinks the offense this year is being designed by Matt Weiss. He says the play designs are just like the Baltimore Ravens, where Weiss was coaching for 12 years.

What a nice change of pace this season, when my main concern watching our offense is that Gattis/Hart balances the TDs equitably between Haskins and Corum so they both feel seen.

I predicted Schiano would move the safeties closer to the LOS after Michigan's first scoring drive. Instead, it appeared that he moved the linebackers close to the LOS. Cade simply picked them apart on 2 huge chunk passing plays.

Those first two offensive drives couldn’t have gone much better. Pound them down the field on drive one then beat them enough through the air when they are forced to sell out.
We should be able to physically dominate Rutgers, but to see them actually do it is another thing. Good start. Let’s see the defense step up now.

Rutgers was geared to stop the run and go for broke on offense. But they can't defend the pass, and falling behind too far will force them out of their plan.
