T minus 9 days until THE GAME! Maryland looms on the road and is a must win to set up next week. What say you as far as the match up with the turtles in College Park?

Michigan 34

Maryland 16

Go Blue!!

30-19. I think there will be some looking ahead and a very vanilla offensive scheme to go with. I think their tempo and mobile qb will cause some issues at times but the game will never be in doubt.

UM - 38

MD - 14

Not going to be the blowout that we'd all want. I imagine Harbaugh is going to keep things fairly vanilla and do what he needs to do to get the team out of there healthy for next week. Maryland will probably have some really annoying drives where they continue to move the ball, but I don't see them ever being in a position to truly threaten.

I think it looks a fair amount like the northwestern game in that it’s close through the first half but also clear Michigan is the better team that also is focusing more on the next week. It will happen with more points as md is capable of moving the ball but by the end of the third quarter Michigan will be up multiple scores.

I do think people need to prepare themselves for md to move the ball a bit and to score some points. This is probably the third best offense we’ve played this year and if they manage to avoid shooting themselves in the foot they have success against almost everyone. They had the same number of points through three quarters against psu as we did

I think Michigan wins 35-14;

but, also, is it surprising that Ohio State is favored by 19 over MSU in a 4 vs. 7 matchup?? I wonder what the largest spread is for an underdog top 7 team?

Under normal circumstances, yes it is very weird. However, OSU has one of, if not the best passing offense in America. MSU has the worst passing defense. Cade threw for nearly 400 yards on MSU, easily breaking his single game record. CJ Stroud routinely throws for that amount in a given game, and he has three receivers who are all going to be playing on Sundays in the near future.

That is a recipe for absolute disaster for MSU.

If Payton Thorne goes off and has a bonkers game, thereby taking pressure off of Walker so he can do his thing, then they can keep it close. OSU doesn't have a very good passing defense either, but its hard for me to see Kenneth Walker taking over the game because OSU has a very good run defense and will likely be keying in on him to put all the pressure on Thorne.

I'm guessing 48-21 OSU. Walker gets his yards, makes a couple of good plays, but Stroud just has a field day and MSU can't do anything about it.

34-17

They'll score a couple of TDs through the air, in the first half.  As usual, Michigan always starts slowly, especially on defense.  But the end result will not be in doubt at any point during this game.

On a fun note - the 10 yr old kid said he wanted to partake in the game with me, so I'm off to Stubhub for tix!  See ya' in College Park...

I predict...

Michigan wins
Haskins gets 100 yds but much fewer carries
#12 has a good day passing
a couple more sacks for our DEs
Harbaugh goes the whole game without setting his pants on fire
