I'll let someone else have it. For $13 mil, I would at least expect a nuclear fallout shelter.
You're forgetting. This is San Francisco, where renting a pup tent costs about the same as a year at Stanford.
I think the place looks pretty sweet myself. I can't imagine Harbaugh uses it much so why not cash in on the hot real estate market?
Yeah, yeah you will "let someone else have it"...
Just, yeah
It has great curb appeal, but the inside is pretty meh.
But I wouldn't read too much into the timing. His financial advisor surely told him the housing bubble was about to burst.
How do you know his financial advisor's name is Shirley?
I wish the inside of my house was pretty meh like that.
$13 mill in the Bay Area. So I'm guessing... 2br/1.5ba 1800 sq. ft bungalow with decent light but worn fixtures and outdated kitchen.
Having spent ample time in that area, I appreciate the humor.
I looked at the listing and saw this:
"On a private, gated lot of over an acre rests this Atherton estate ..."
Historically one of the richest 'burbs in the U.S.
Obligatory "Yeah but just think what $13mill would get you in SE Michigan" inserted here...
@ Michigan it would get you about 6 wins...
Don't forget the backyard. A lovely, landscaped 75 sq. ft. with a bird feeder and several garden gnomes. The owners will include their aluminum patio furniture for no additional charge.
I'm really disappointed the whole yard is not a football field and the owner isn't including the uprights and team bench.
Would expect a Dong Forest that conveys.
That might just be more your dream than everyone's...? ?♂️
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Yes, but you're "allowed" to have rats.
This doesn't mean he's staying on. In fact, it could mean the opposite. Maybe he knows this is his last year and he wants to make sure he has enough cash in the bank to take next year off without having to lift a finger. Maybe he wants to buy a house in a part of the country where he's never worked and can live anonymously while he contemplates his next move. Who knows?
Well, with California tax rates, he’s going to end up with about $2.39 after of the sale, so that’s probably out the window.
That's ridiculous. He'll get ten times that, maybe even a hundred times that. Hell, he might even be able to get himself a PlayStation 5 (probably not the disc version, though). Let's not go overboard with our exaggerations.
How do you know this?
*sigh*
Alright, I'll throw in my tender offer of $14 and some leftover wings from dinner last night.
How many wings? Drums too? What sauce?
Never mind, I ate them for lunch lol. Nothing too crazy, medium heat siracha dry rub and standard buffalo. Solid mix of both drums and flats, I had probably 8 or so total left--they had a buy 10 get 10 deal last night that any sane man simply could not turn down. 20 wings for cheap brah.
This guy is really punching air at the "woke" strawman in his head. *Checks author.* Ah, of course, a Buckeye fan.
Yea he hit hard with those Starbucks and Whole Foods jabs. I bet those woke California libs are crying into their soy lattes after that article.
It's a seller's market
What does a house in San Francisco have to do with whether or not he’s sticking around at Michigan?
Absolutely nothing.
War, huh, good god. WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR
He didn’t sell it before? Well if it takes him this long to list SF property, I guess we should be grateful the offense gets any plays off at all.
If he doesn't need to get rid of it, then holding onto it is the smart move given the ridiculous rate at which real estate appreciates in Northern California. Coaching is a more than full-time job, so he doesn't have time to be wheeling and dealing by rapidly moving his money around in different investments. I don't think coaches do that; they strike me more as mutual fund folks. The fact that he's selling it does perhaps indicate that he has some major life changes on the horizon (the kind of life change that will make half of the fanbase happy and the other half seethe with anger).
Did no one listen to his big ten interview? He rented it to his friends and they are moving out so they are selling it.
Harbaugh has always sucked in hurry up situations.
I need a summer place in the Bay area.
It might not be big enough, though.
5 woke families…how many sleepy families?
Heard his wife is headed back to Cali this year, so maybe they are selling this to buy her a different place.
Beat Western Michigan.
Joking. Old habit.
I guess the pay cut in his renegotiated contract hit him harder than expected.
