Has anyone seen this Michigan product before?

Was searching ebay the other day and found something I have never seen before.

It's called a gLogo by Danbury Mint. Danbury Mint made the coolest Michigan things back in the early-mid 2000s like the rivalry figurines and such.

Picked up on ebay for $15 and picked it up locally so I'd have it in time for the game.

It's a Block M that suction cups to your window on the inside of your car/SUV/truck. It plugs in via your car lighter outlet. The Block M has a Blue backing so the light isn't a distraction at night for the driver. I took it out last night to try it out and it was fine.

Does anyone have any info on this? The packaging doesn't say what year it was made but I did read on the packaging that there were apparently versions of this sold for your home windows that had an electrical outlet plug instead of a car plug.

I've never seen anything like this before and am wondering if anyone else has.

Is that legal? It certainly seems like it wouldn't be, but I don't know.

My very quick Google search seems to find posts focused on adding additional lights for illumination (e.g., on the top of your pickup truck) but I didn't find anything about side windows.

This is a car you see and just know that they'll spend most of their time on the interstate doing 3 mph over the limit in the inside lane, and then give you a dirty look when you finally give up and pass them on the right.

How is the concept of "inside" difficult? The median is the center, and the inside lane is the one closest to it. On a three lane highway, you drive in the center, exit from the outside lane, and pass in the inside lane. I understand that safe driving practices are generally difficult for Michigan drivers to understand, but I figured you folks could keep up with the vocab.

Cut the guy some slack. This is just showing love for his team. Now if he were to dress up like the bedsheet cowboy and run around the stadium then that’s an issue.

First, I don't get why people are giving the OP so much shit for his obsessive fandom.  He found something that he truly enjoys, so good for him.  While I don't come close to WD in this department, I also spend WAY too much on Michigan-related products.

As for this product, I don't personally like it for a car.  Looks a bit tacky, but that's just my own opinion.  I would, however, LOVE this product for one of my windows during the holiday season.  It would be a nice Michigan touch to my holiday lights.
