Badgers VS Buckeyes. Who Ya Got?

Submitted by MichiganForever on
I think O$U leads 17-10 going into the 4th. Wisconsin lone TD comes on a Barrrettt interception backed against their endzone. However, Wisconsin are driving into Buckeye territory deep into the redzone when Hornibrook throws a pick in the end zone. Samuel breaks free for a 50 yarder up the gut next drive to clinch the win, 24-10. What say you?

Osu offense is not as explosive as people think. They have only had 4 plays of 40 yards this year, whereas Michigan has had 12. Of the 4, 2 each came against bowling Green and Rutgers. Not to say that they can not get a long one verse the best defense they have played up to date, but it will break their season trend.

It will plays some mind games on OSU but I fear it will be a 45-13 blowout type game. May be close in the first half then OSU will blow out WI, then the  pundits will all say there is no way Michigan will beat OSU. Even though I think our offense did not play well against WI.

Wisconsin's defense is legit, and Barrett didn't look all that great against Indiana at anything other than running around. Decision-making me was poor against the first defense they met with a pulse, and I don't think Indiana is all that good on D either. I've gotten much more confident about the last game of the season after last weekend. Unfortunately the Wisconsin offense just can't hack it, so they will lose. And the more the D is out there the more tired they will get so OSU will be able to run it up a bit late. 30-16 OSU. An OSU loss doesn't help us at this point anyway so I'll be pretty much neutral rather than rooting against the Buckeyes.

Unfortunately a couple osu injuries. And urban takes a football to the head. The whole team eats some cheese with mold on it and gets diarrhea but lucky for them coolers are near by.

OSU will probably win comfortably in a low scoring game (thunderstorms are possible). Wisconsins Defense is good, but so is OSU's, and Ohio State has a large enough offensive advantage to make up for any edge Wisc has on defense.

they're at home in a big time night game

the last time they played was an embarrassing 59-0 loss, Badgers have to remmeber that game.

I think OSU wins but it will be a hard fought game, maybe OSU wins by no more than 10 points but don't be too shocked if there is an upset.

I don't care as long as its close. Ohio wins that makes for a great big time matchup in the game. W wins it's nice that they are upset but they will be hungrier in the game. If it's a buckeye blow out that's not good.

I'm going to pick Wisconsin, just a feeling. The game is in Madison and the last time the Buckeyes went to Madison with Paul Cryst on staff, they got smoked. They get an extra week to prepare and heal up 24-17

Wisconsin's offense is not good enough to score against osu's defense, even if it isn't as good as ours. We moved the ball with ease against Wisconsin and just couldn't finish the drives. Osu will score. It will be the score that we should have won by: 28-10

But how in the hell is Wisconsin supposed to score 17 on OSU's defense. OSU gets alot of press on their offense, but their D is actually better. Looks as if they have 3 first rounders in their secondary alone (both corners and a safety)... That's fucking nuts.

I honestly think Wisconsin stuns TOSU. I think it's one of those crazy endings that we see replayed all year and even in saying this I think Ohio state is still top seven at the end of the year when we play them. I watched the Indian game and JT is having some problems throwing down field. It's all lining up to be a nail biter.

I heard that it's supposed to rain. Hopefully urban deploys uber-stupid game planning package like he did against msu last year and that Wisconsin can keep it close and win this game on a big defensive play.
It's a long shot but I think it can happen. At Camp Randall...anything is possible.

This has all the signs of the classic annual buckeye meltdown, ala msu and Wisconsin games of the past, but typically those games steel their resolve and they play lights out for the rest of the season, so I don't know what I'm hoping for this weekend.

OSU. To think otherwise is just wishful thinking. Wisconsin does not have the athletes to match those of OSU. Oh, and to add to that, Meyer is a mere 19-0 in true road games. That is disgusting. I see mo reason for him to be 19-1 after this game.

But I don't see them beating the Buckeyes. Since its at Camp Randal, I will say they get one TD on offense, but that's it. OSU 34-13.

Wisconsin's defense is probably going to be able to slow down Ohio State considerably, but count me among those who will agree that the Badgers will not beat the Buckeyes, even in a relatively low-scoring game as I expect this one to be - well, comparatively speaking when you look at what Ohio State has done in other games. I would think Wisconsin sees the endzone a couple times, but the Buckeyes see it a couple more on top of that.

34-6 OSU. Wisconsin won't be able to stop jt and he will be the hot heisman talk (yes, more than he already is)

I've found that assuming the worst with them is usually a good strategy. I'm usually right, and on rare occasions I'm happily surprised.

To pull off the upset, if they had anything resembling an offense. Their D is solid, and if the weather is supposed to be shitty, we've seen OSU turtle up before in those conditions. With this being a night game at home coming off a bye, I think I'd pick Wisconsin if they had any offensive firepower, but I'll take the buckeyes 24-9

Only way Wisconsin wins is if that QB has a breakout day -- it's possible at this point in the season after a bye week but I wouldn't bet on it. I think the light will come on for him and he will have a good career but tomorrow probably isn't the moment. OSU will move the ball -- if the Wisconsin defense is on the field the whole game because their offense keeps stalling out, it will be a long game.
