Scrimmage Observations
I had the opportunity to speak with a parent of one of the players who attended the scrimmage. Here were his observations:
-Rashan Gary was limited due to his ass kicking abilities. He is that good.
-Patterson, Peters and McCaffery all were given an opportunity with the one's and all had impressive plays. Peters command is a big positive.
-Tarik Black and DPJ should be the two best WR's at this school since Braylon.
-Oliver Martin doesn't drop balls and his get off at the line of scrimmage is impressive.
-K. Hudson's arms have their own zip code.
-It was fairly striking the speed in which this defense plays with, even compared to last year's team.
-For how good the defense is, the OL looked much improved over last year.
-There is a sense of "pissed off" and "we are going to prove doubters wrong" with this team.
Some of these items have been discussed, but we need all the football talk we can get.
Please get September 1st here quickly! Go Blue.
Do you think the kid can't grow and learn in his time here? He was very young last year and only played in 4 games. There is a lot to process in that position and I would hope and expect him to now be more comfortable and be more in command.
Because he's a concern troll...
oh, what game is Michigan playing today? Does everyone have to take a vow of silence until Game 1?
Sorry, I had anger for about 48 other “just win” comments that I’ve ignored.
JABRONI... I would give you 2 upvotes if allowed.
Go Blue!!

The expectation is for the team to win.
In April.
Somehow.
Winless in April; #FIREHARBAUGH
Harbaugh is just coaching the team and I think that is translating across the entire program right now. Reading the details from last year never seemed to reflect any of the things we are seeing right now. Good athletes and so on but nothing like the focus the team has right now. Not sure if I call it a chip on the shoulder but maybe a reflection of Harbaugh's sour taste from last year. Looking forward to Football this year for sure. Go Blue!!!
This post could be 100% fiction, but I'm still eating it up like gospel.
They’ve been their own worst enemy for years. Hopefully Warriner can work some magic with the OL this offseason.
Kid is going to be a 1st round pick - hopefully in the 2020 draft and not 2019...
This is what God intended male humans to look like.
Khaleke Hudson will finish his career a better player than Jabril.
I almost believe this.
No knock on Peppers but Khaleke is already the better Viper.
but until teams start punting out of bounds to keep the ball out of Hudson's hands, he does not have the same impact on the game that Peppers did.
since we didn't have a public scrimmage, i guess folks will just have to read the tea leaves sort to speak.
the Defense is promising, with Brown, you don't really have to be worried about the D losing games... hoping that they are good enough to steal the program a couple of games this year however...as good as they were last year, i don't think they were able to do that.
encouraging to hear all three qbs are looking good... if SP isn't eligible, we all need to pray to peters or dylan can take command of the offense.
Seriously, if Shea is good to go (and likely anyway), is there any reason why this team shouldn't be quite (as in very) strong this year? I know OSU is maybe at a higher level (like every year); but seems like we should be competing in the East.
The offensive line. But I have unrealistically high hopes for them as well for some reason. Outside of that question mark this should be one of the most talented teams we've fielded in a long time.
let me get this straight. james franklin and his staff can take a team from nothing to a power in a couple years, the same coach who their fan base wanted fired two years ago. and then take what was their biggest weakness for years, the off. line, and turn it into what they call the strength of their team now? but harbaugh cant figure out how to do that?
Apparently not.
And why in hell can't I get rid of those goddamn "NewChic" ads at the left? No matter how many times I tell Google I ain't interested, they come back. Adblock is next.
are you nuts? so in three years michigan has had mediocre lines, running attack, and passing game? you are putting way too much on last years team, or you know nothing about football.
he beat harbaugh once in three games and had a once in a lifetime rb. that is all he has done.

Alex Smith and Colin Kapernick say hi so I'm pretty sure their former Coach remembers how to handle QBs like Shea...
I understand that people are disappointed about last season but why argue hypotheticals that don't fit facts?

of coarse michigan never came close to beating osu in any of those games, while penn st. just dominated osu in their games. it is stupid to think harbaugh has done nothing right in those games just because they lost. there is alot more to it then just the wins and losses, dude.
Fuck Ohio State, fuck the schedule, fuck the doubters. I believe this team can win the B1G, absolutely, and more importantly I believe the team believes it. The naysayers on here can protect their inner child all they want.
Can't wait for narrative season to give way to actual season which will give way to knee jerk narrative season.....
This may be something more discussed on paywall boards already , but can we confirm that K. Crawford and Grant Perry were at the scrimmage and playing? We haven't heard much about them this spring it seems.
umbig11 may or may not have been "commenting" on Crawford. After all, Perry was hurt earlier and it's news that he's better now.
But Crawford has: 1. Changed away from #1. 2. Been cleanly passed by Black and DPJ and probably Collins. 3. Been totally absent from any camp talk, in contrast with Black and DPJ and Collins and Martin.
It doesn't look great to me.
Honestly I think he's pretty "meh" as a player. He showed a lot of promise as a freshman, but really hasn't shown a lot of improvement. His hands are iffy.
