Best game of the year. Peaking just in time for the tournies. Another quadrant 1 win. Go blue!

Tremendous team growth and progress.

So great to see a well-rounded team that got good by playing defense, and has now found their offense too.

Look out NCAA field - Michigan is HOT!

several TOs, took a bad shot.  He played great D and rebounded well (5 in limited minutes).  In the 2nd, he had an offensive board on our first possesion and had a great drive on the 2nd possession.  He shot good shots in rhythm and made 2 2nd half triples.  If you just looked at the 2nd half, you would think: wow, this is an all B1G level player!  So hopefully he can build off of that.

If you take that half as a stand alone (which I clearly stated), he had 11 points on 80% shooting, 67% from 3, excellent defense, 2 assists, no turnovers, and 4 rebounds.  Yes, extrapolating those stats would actually make him the national player of the year.  Not going crazy, just stating that for one half, he played at an All B1G level.  I respect the desire to rebuke hyperbole, but you need to check the facts before leveling a rebuke.

I know I know every team could say this, but imagine if this team had 1 more year of Walton. Think how sweet this season would be. A pg. who can shoot and lead. Z's played better, but still limited at time.

So . . . another vastly improved, Final Four-level Michigan team will go into the NCAA Tournament as a 6 seed.

If the season started in October, we'd always be a 1 seed.

They need to take improvement over the season into account much more than they do.

Entire body of work, blah blah, blah.

Who you are in March should count a lot more than who you were in December.

A keen observation - another flaw of the tourney committee.

But in this year's tourney, it may not matter very much.  Where is the dominant 1 seed that you absolutely dread?  3, 4, 5, or 6 seed (only possibilities in my mind) all give you a heavily favored 1st game, a likely slim Vegas/ KenPom advantrage in game 2, and then in sweet 16, you face a 1, 2, 3, or 4 and have a good shot against any of those!

and I thought we'd lose this game based on our performance that night.

Cowen killed us i that game but was a non-factor when it mattered today. Not sure if we made adjustments or if he just came back to earth.

Really like the way the team is playing. Hitting threes, sharing the ball well, and playing good/great D. If Mathews can play even moderately better, watch out!

no way!  i was hoping for 12-6 at best before the season.  what a helluva job.

- mo is mo

- maar has taken over the past several weeks to a new level

- Drob is coming around again.

- simpson's improvement has been huge.  for all of his haters, where would this team be without him.

- livers and matthews are both slumping now after great starts early in the year.  get back to where you once belonged.

- poole and teske giving good minutes off the bench and improving.

now, keep it going for the next month...or so.

MAAR is so damn efficient, now that he's aggressively asking for the ball and looking to score, he's incredibly dangerous.

He is exactly the weapon this team needed, and it's no coincidence that Robinson and Poole's games have risen alongside - lots of great looks out there.

Such a joy to watch Michigan systematically take apart a foe in dire need of a win.  Terp fans in absolute disbelief after about 8 minutes into the game.  Every time MD made a mini-run, a different guy from Michigan had an answer.

in the 1st half

with Lunardi blathering on & on & on about...

specifically, who the hell knows?

I had a Dakich-induced mute going on.

Fun game to watch even w/o sound!!

Michigan now up to 14th in KenPom, leapfrogging the fighting Andrew Dakiches. Apparently 20+ point road wins are impressive. ;)

to check periodic scores, it appears the Terrapins, turtled under a barrage of 3's by Michigan and a styming defense that left them shellshocked. (See what I did there).

We have needed this last week desperately as fans. Some key unexpected road wins, that weren’t must haves but have us playing at the top of our game at the perfect time. Plus good news in multiple ways for our O line...
