This is not normal.

I have no words, I have never seen a collapse like this before. I don't even know where to begin. Is it the coaches? Players? Inexperience? I don't know. But this did not feel normal today, something is wrong in the program. Maybe I am overreacting after losing 19 starters, maybe it is just lack of execution.  I just don't know and I am just sad.

Hate to say it, but the Michigan football program is dead just like Tennessee’s. Harbaugh became more of a celebrity than a coach, and seems to have lost every bit of edge and drive he ever had. The program is a laughingstock and an embarrassment to the conference. You don’t go from where they are now to winning championships, especially when you’ll no longer get elite recruits to jump on this burning ship.

This program is pathetic. For all the resources they have, this is inexcusable. They don't deserve any sort of hype or recognition. OSU, PSU, and MSU are all easily better programs than Michigan right now and that doesn't look like it's changing soon.

This is completely normal. Three coaches, mediocre (at best) results. What an embarrassment. Forget all about winning it all next season. This staff doesn’t seem to have any more magic than the last two.

I’m just going to say it. Next year is make or break for Harbaugh. You have too much talent for your offense to look as fucking disgusting as it does. I don’t care that our schedule is brutal next year. All the great teams find ways to navigate brutal schedules and win tough road games.

I hope the media grills Harbaugh in the post-game conference and in the offseason. There are coaches making a third of his salary who have 2-3x the results he has. He and Drevno deserve whatever criticism they get for the shit product they’re putting on the field.

I think I'm finally at the point where I need to see results on the field to buy in. This is bad, really bad.

Sadly this is normal for us. Stupid ass turnovers when we have a chance to put a game away. Playcalling that makes no sense. Over thinking everything. Harbaugh will not be on the hot seat next year but I'm having serious doubts about how far he can take this team.

Agreed. I love Brian Cook, I really do. And I owe a Big part of my fandom to this blog. But holy hell at some point we have to face reality about what a letdown this coaching staff and this team is. Harbaugh had better put his money where his mouth is and make some significant coaching staff changes this off-season or it's going to become very clear that this is the same old arrogant Michigan that became so complacent for almost two decades.

Well, if this "meaningless exhibition" is any kind of preview for next year (and seeing the OL, WR, QB, TEs, and a good portion of the defense are next year's starters), then the larger point is, we're not winning 10 games next year.  Not even close.  Oh, and that doesn't even begin to address the pedestrian game plan, poor playcalling, atrocious game management....

No, but he is on the hot seat for losing a lot of marquee games on route to a 28-11 record, which is only marginally better than Hoke's 26-11 mark in his first 3 years.

Nebraksa pretty much canned Bo Pelini for losing every big game while still winning 9 games a year.

Could’ve run for that first down and slid. Shows no emotion, no swagger, and the offense takes on his personality. Next year is going to be every bit as frustrating if we don’t get a qb with some balls.

I couldnt beleive he slid there when he could have gotten a first down.  He looked seriously rattled in the fourth quarter but was off most of the game.  To be fair ther receivers can't get open and the offensive line can't handle pressure.  He certainly didn't look like any type of answer for out offensive woes.

These collapses are nothing new under Harbaugh.  It's crazy how we got pretty much the exact opposite of what we signed up for.  Next year is a make or break year, we can get much better than this for $9 million

The B1G was let down. The tires deflated completely....again. We're getting pretty much this entire team back, but what is this team? I think that's what they're going to have to spend the next 8 months asking themselves.

This was horrific coaching.  Multiple 3 and 1 scenarios and we dont give it to Higdon.  Not a pretty game at all.

Way to rip defeat from the jaws of victory.

Brandon Peters may be the softest QB I have ever seen.. We need to get into the 21st century and get mobile at the qb position. we have a guy that can’t run 4 yards.
