This is not normal.

I have no words, I have never seen a collapse like this before. I don't even know where to begin. Is it the coaches? Players? Inexperience? I don't know. But this did not feel normal today, something is wrong in the program. Maybe I am overreacting after losing 19 starters, maybe it is just lack of execution.  I just don't know and I am just sad.

I don't care what Brian or Seth or any of them say, and I'm sure they'll be bitching and moaning about how bad *the fan base* is, but that was a horrible performance, especially on offense, and lots of it looked like scheme, coaching, player development, play calling.

No heart either, skip. I think South Carolina wanted it and played harder. They were out of sorts in the first but Michigan couldn't put them away. Then when they made their run Michigan never counter-punched.  I'm disappointed with how in this game and the State game (and to a lesser extent Ohio St but that was kind of out of reach) Michigan couldn't even get somewhat close at the end of the game. I think that shows really how pathetic the offense is.

Something's up with this team - they seem tight  as a team should and they play for each other. And they show flashes of brilliance on the field (esp the defense).  But its so rare that they get tough and play with emotion and play their tails off in these big, close games.

At what point do you stop you’re fandom? I’m seriously thinking about it. We all deserve better. I admit I am bitter and disappointed.

We can just never catch a break. Like you said, I don’t know what’s wrong with this program. Next year it’s put up or shut up, no excuses. Even though I know fans will create a bullshit excuse like almost every damn year for the past 10+ seasons. *After seeing the last interception That was a fucking terrible playcall and terrible execution. They choose to run a 15 yard out on 4th and one?! You can’t expect Peters to make that pass, that was an NFL throw. Although, what the hell was Brandon doing? He consistently underthrows receivers, and on this attempt not only underthrew it but threw it in the inside. I’m just done man. I’m always so optimistic at the start of the season or any game. I need to start expecting losses at this point unless something serious gets changed.

Also sick of so many on this site talking so much trash all week before the game. This team couldn’t finish all year. What made you think things would change for this game.

Here is hoping for a 4 quarter team in 2018! Go Blue!

made no sense to me.  Even the decison to go for it on 4th and 10 with 3:36 to go and admittedly one time out was a bit desperate but we had the game 19-3, first and goal  in the third quarter and 4 turnovers later the gcocks won a game we had no business losing.  God Bless Mo Hurst a champion in life and a great football player.

to do

Harbaugh is out of slogans, no more steel in the spine, no trips to Rome will fix this mess

Issues are (IMO) and I could be wrong, some of the coaches on the staff need to be shown the door

Go Blue and Happy New Year to all

keep my emotions in check here but it's hard. one thing I have noticed on multiple occasions this season is that when this team is faced with adversity, they fold. Defense gets punched in the mouth, they fold. There is no fight in these kids. That's coaching. That's what coaches should do. I hope they get it fixed in the off season because year 4 is make or break for Harbaugh and his staff. my opinion.

Shea Patterson will be named starting QBs tomorrow. If the switch Joe Milton to wide receiver, I will be done with this program until they can prove the can move into the 21st century. OSU went mobile and had been kicking our ass ever since.

.....the scheme is overly complex.  I put it on Drevno and Hamilton.

We have watched Ruddock, Speight, OKorn and Peters struggle with this offense.

It ain't the kids, it is the expectation that they can go from high school schemes to pro schemes with nothing in between.  Instead of confusing opposing defenses, we are confusing our own players.  You can see dozens of examples of this.

BTW--did you know that Shane Morris went to CMU and had a banner year?  The same Shane Morris we gave up on.

Watching your quarterback slide 1 yard short of getting a first down when there's less than 2 minutes left and you have no timeouts and then watching him throw it 30 yards down the field on a fourth and 1 is as enraging as it can get. Oh yea, after he threw an interception in the end zone on a drive that would have given us the lead.

Peters looked totally clueless out there late in the game.  It is inexplicable that he slid short of the first, which would have stopped the clock.  Then he got up and had no urgrency.  He looks like he was on another planet.

Need a short throw and he is out there throwing bombs.  Need a long conversion and he is dumping it off.

I just don't it.

(and this is where Perters is a 180 from Speight) have you noticed how often he backs up

and backs up

and backs up

only to throw it away, or to throw it 20 yrd, right at the feet of his intended target AND STILL BE 5 YARDS SHORT!!!!

Peters is clearly not the answer. Next year Patterson or McCaffery need to be QB. Also Harbaugh needs to fire Drevno and Pep and hire someone to run the offense without head coach meddling. The offense is a joke.

Has been all year. Players not executing...which is a direct reflection of practice and coaching. It's simply a down year. At some point the hype has to equate on field. It hasn't yet. In 2018 there is no excuse why it shouldn't. The first step is recognizing that Amani Toomer and company are not ignorant Michigan-hating trolls. There is legitimate concern and issues coaching wise. Everyone needs to do better accountability wise. Just got to load up and win ball games....ones that matter....in 2018. Simple as that.

What's so frustrating right now is that it isn't one thing that's the problem. It's almost EVERYTHING. Players make stupid decisions, coaches make stupid play calls, players can't execute their assignments, and coaches can't put them in positions to succeed. No one is doing their job and this is the result

with a 19-3 lead heading into the endzone fold up and quit after a fumble.  Don't know what I think right now.  Soft?  Disorganized?  Youth?  I have no words..  Fuck this, I'm going to the movies...

That is a valid excuse for having a mediocre offense.  But it is not an excuse for what we saw today and really all year.

Sure the offense is young.  But there have to be some serious issues with coaching (game plans, situational play calling, prep, everything) to get an offense this bad.

It is more of a coaching and staff problem than a youth problem.
