Sorry people but our record against MSU & OSU since Jimmy arrived is 1-5.  We arent "really 4-2" cause of a dropped punt, a bad call and craptastic QB play of our back-up QB.  We are 1-5 and need to own that.  I hate the rationalizations, excuses and deflection we toss up to explain the unexplainable (at least to us).

The 2015 MSU game never shoud've come down to that punt and even when it did, our formation having two gunners against a max pressure rush was stupid

In the 2016 OSU game the crooked refs didnt throw a pick 6 or fumble on the 1 yard line.

And in this year's OSU game it was nobody's fault but ours the JOK (hell of a man - not awesome as QB) was forced to play the gamne.  OSU played their 2nd string QB too and seemed to get better, not worse, when it happened.

We need to own this.  Stop making excuses people.

I generally like your posts. I really *can't* stand the fixation on "our rivals." We're taking our cues from second-rate journalists with a similar fixation. FFS, everyone, look at the overall record. (Not great, but the regime is promising ...)

I sometimes get the feeling that if we beat a 3-9 OSU and a 2-10 MSU (never mind whether that's realistic) and went 6-6 on the season some of our fans would be content. Seriously.

We are a QB away from being 5-1 against our rivals. Also, I like you, but joining the chorus of people who try to blame the 2015 loss on anything but Blake O'Neill fucking up the last play is a bad look. All he has to do is catch the ball and that game is over. The protection didn't matter. 

That's the only take that matters. Hopefully things are remedied this year.

to the punt O’Neil not being instructed to just fall on the ball if the snap is bad inexcusable imo. I remember in a similar situation in HS our coach telling the punter exactly that. At mid field with 10 seconds left with your opponent needing a TD the worst scenario is a punt block or fumble keeping the ball alive for the defense to return it for a TD. I mean if Harbaugh told him that would he really try and get a punt off?

Why would Harbaugh have two gunners when Sparty had nobody returning the ball? Our coach is to blame as much as Blake on that play. Our fans are blind to that and I can't stand it. Another 1 or 2 blockers just might have made more sense there.

I don't know if you're a fuckface or not, but your post is a fuckface, so, speaking to your post, listen fuckface, asK your author how about he and I run a forty yard dash where the winner gets to kill the loser and inherit everything he owned, however I'm going to cheat and make him start 20 yards back, and no matter how much he whines, complains or tries to use that little handicap as an "excuse" I'm still gonna kill the fuck out of him and take all his shit because regardless of cheating or absurd gigantic handicaps I WIN and HE LOSES, FUCKING LOSER!!!!
