Exactly this ^^^. In the same "he has to be better" segment, Toomer said "I'm a fan."

Well, that's nice, Amani. So are millions of people. But guess what, numbnuts? Those millions are not on air getting paid as an "expert football commentator," and then spewing this kind of shallow drivel. "Get better?" Wow - what an insight!

There's my grievance: These buckethead "experts" who spout the same crap that you can hear from the fat guy on the last bar stool.

Tone matters. Also, watch the videos and read everything he has said (e.g., about Harbaugh "never winning anything"). Toomer is an ass.

Also, the Freep still sucks. They haven't apologized for their bullshit during the RichRod years and they're effectively doubling down by publicizing Toomer's remarks.

Well he does need to win more, and I'm as glass half empty as they come, but saying ''he's never won anything'' and that he's the ''Paris Hilton of College football'' are stupid things to say. Also ''I don't see Michigan as an 8-3 team'' sounds stupid coming out of his mouth considering the last three years he was here his teams went 9-4, 8-4, and 8-4 and how many times have we gone 8-4 over the last 20 to 30 years?

We expect to win national championships, and I wouldn't even say regularly, but at least compete for them regularly. There's no reason why we can't. But, we have not competed for national championships on a regular basis since the early 70s, and before that probably the 40s. Our pregame video says we ''believe in championship football''. Okay, then we're gonna need to do some serious changing of results on the field for the last 70 years if that's really the case.

Although his underlying message may have been correct.  His delivery was terrible!  He compared Harbaugh to Paris Hilton.  He aslo made comments about Jordans and taking the kids to Rome.  I have no problem with taking kids who might never go out of the country to Rome for an educational experiece.  This is what college is all about.  He could go 0-12 and I still say the trip was a FANTASTIC idea.  The fact that he is crapping on kids who are taking advantage of a college experience sucks big time.  Lost all respect for him.  Him and Braylon can go somewhere and shut the hell up.  The only reason why they even put a mic is his face is because he is a former player.  Last time I checked, he has ZERO national championships as well.  It kills me that the guys who never won a NC are doing the most talking.  If you were on the 97 team, then you MAY be able to speak negatively about what is going on.  Anywone else can sit back and wait.

Hit the nail on the head. Here's my grievance: UM fans who apparently don't understand the importance of contextual relevance. They can't see the trees for the forest, cherry pick seemingly indisputable stats, and use blanket rationales to justify their lazily arrived at opinions. This is THE very essence of the UNACCEPTABLE crowd.

Good ages to watch the kids get excited about Christmas. My 16 year old couldn't care less about it and my 12 year old knows the truth about Santa so he mostly helps stoke the 4 year old's excitement.  The 4 month old just gets in the way for now.

I dont know what he does for a living, but a lot of people who have careers that require advanced degree or travel frequently are waiting to have kids.  I just turned 40 and I have a 2 year old.  Most people in my circle are above 40 with small children.  It is actually quite common now.

Sounds like someone has been spending too much time at the mall. That's reason enough to turn anyone against humanity. I watched the 1938 version of A Christmas Carol last night. It was good, but the 1970 Albert Finney version remains the best. Thank you very much, thank you very much, thank you very, very, very much. That's the nicest thing that anyone's ever done for me...

different type of swine. Let go of that obsession and you will greatly improve the satisfaction you get from your life. Christmas, like everything else on the Earth, is what you personally make of it. I make it about time with my family and relaxation so I love it. My kids are growing up fast so I need to appreciate every special moment that I get with them.

"So it wasn’t O’Korn literally throwing up a pop fly to an OSU DB to seal the game?"

You are correct, nothing O'Korn did or didn't do had a single fucking thing to do with it. No mistakes we made as players, coaches or as a team, and no poor play and no lack of playing better or great in even the tiniest single aspect had fuck all to do with it if you look at reality, math and logic.

You can criticize a million things about the team and you can be right about many, all, some or none, that they either could've or should've played better, coached better, made less mistakes or even taken better pregame shits if you need your giggles, but a zillion percent regardless of whatever they lacked, with every single one of their shortcomings or failures as is and intact, with fair, honest and correct officiating, and not on any single plays such as the bad spot in an overtime that had no right to exist due to a minimum of 15 atrocious and corrupt calls all game, homered there and homered at home, all game long again, those were both fucking Michigan blowouts!!!

Absolutely HUGE point swings, and probable point swings in both games due to their garbage.

Whatever we did poorly that was in our control, regardless of whether or not actually playing better would've ALSO given us the wins, DOES NOT mean that it's ok to fuck us in the ass and steal the games!!!!

If we do bad things but yet would otherwise still win the game according to the actual play of players and teams on the field with correct officiating, then that means that one way or another we still played better than the opponent, or played in ways, through luck, or whatever the fuck, that by the rules make for a fucking win unless the rules are not enforced fairly or equally!

We were the better team on the field regardless of flaws in those two games and in Harbaugh's 2 losses to State as well, even as much as we stunk against them this year. They were both actually just as bad as the buckeye games if you pay attention.

We are allowed to play shitty but win just like other teams, it's still supposed to be a win if it was only OUTSIDE forces that prevent the win rather than the totality of good and bad plays and coaching by BOTH teams.

It's upside down and insane to say we deserve to lose or didn't deserve to win based on not being perfect or that we could/should've played/coached better if correct calls would've made a win anyway because the other teams don't play or coach perfect games either!

You're saying it's ok to penalize one team for mistakes and take a win away from them, but it's ok for the other team, who almost by definition made MORE mistakes or bad play, to not only not get penalized OR even criticized for ANYTHING they do wrong, let alone EVERYTHING they do wrong, but they needed outside help, and could ONLY win with the undeserved outside help from asshole scum or just terrible fucking refs and that's ok by you!!!!

If your criticism of our team is correct and we're so fucking bad then why on fucking earth do the other teams and coaches get so much credit for ONLY being able to beat such a terrible team by squeaking by us with fucking cheating?

We held those pieces of shit to minus 6 total yards in the first quarter and were rolling toward a 21 point lead when the refs told us to fuck off and stopped our third scoring drive and gave them 2 in a row to tie.

That totally changed the game, and in each case they ignore mugging interference's against our receivers and call phantom ones against our DB's, same with holding, roughing, unsportsmanlike, targeting, penalties on coaches, you fucking name it!

There was much more than just that sequence that turned our budding blowout into a momentum and spirit crushing tie, but that's enough and you saw the rest of it too!!!
