OT: How many stars are you and at what?

I am a borderline 5* at grilling Mahi Mahi, which I just discovered tonight.

At making poor life choices. Hence the back to school at 39 to finish a degree I started in 96, to get a new career going because I got fired from my old job I originally dropped out of college for, to begin this whole shitshow that is adult life.

Hoping the services take into account my banging some skank at work 10 years ago that started the divorce process that indirectly lead to my getting fired, and give me that 5th star.

But I ain’t mad, just enjoying the ride.

5* at binge watching shows while on vacation. Godless, Punisher season 1, Black Sails final season, The Last Kingdom season 2, caught up on Vikings, caught up on Shameless ... I'm running out of shows. Is Peaky Blinders worth dipping into? I haven't seen any of it, but I'm worried it'll be too British, and I won't understand the dialogue.

High 2* at soooo much of life. 85th percentile in most things. I feel like years from now I'll look back and wish I settled for mediocrity in a few to be top tier as a dad/husband, but at least everyone will be fed and clothed.

4.5-star persuader. I'm *probably* going to persuade the crap outta you, but I didn't persuade well for like 3 plays in a persuasion camp and some douchebag scout keeps me from elite persuasion because of it.

4*at pissing away money because of my stupidity. Not for what some people would say is wasting money like drugs and alcohol. I’d rather just burn money because that’s a lot more fun.

4 star bass fisherman. 5 star pc game modder and player. 3 star senior software engineer - see 1 and 2. Not rated at conversing about the shows my wife watches.

I'm an unpreferred walk-on in my wife's.

I'm Brian Kelly to my 17 y.o. when I take her phone.

I'm Jon Falk to my cat's box and bowl.

When is the next bowl game on?

5* steelheader. Top 1%. Today landed 3 with the Spey rod, including an absolute pig. Low to mid 4* in wing shooting. Those are the high points. 3* husband, father and salesman. Make a nice living as a relationship manager, but I'm 10 years past doing anything remarkable. If I get fired, I am going to hate life when I have to work again.

I'd have to say I am solidly in 4-star territory. I've always had the knack for striking the right balance between fidelity to the rules and game mechanics while keeping the adventure moving. My NPCs are usually pretty compelling. I've always designed my own stuff--never used a store-bought module or a stock monster for a boss fight. Character deaths are uncommon but do happen, mortal risks ever-present. Never a TPK though. Stingy with treasure. I need to improve at timekeeping and encumbrance issues. I also have to get more consistent at designing truly creative cultures and encounters--too often I find my modern, western paradigm creeping into places where it shouldn't be.
