Tommy Tremble not looking good.

Submitted by Lakeyale13 on

Per 247sports, Both Steve's (Lorenz and Wiltfong) now have Tremble to ND.  WTH!?  That was a crazy turnaround in momentum that was believed to be going Michigan's way.  He announces his decison today.  Not looking good for the "good guys".

We have 2 Tight Ends committed and another 5 on the damn roster, 4 of those who I believe will be back in 2019 as well. I think we'll be OK. If anything this gives michigan some more flexibility to really go after some DT's and OL's. Positions we REALLY need.

Wheatleys name has been thrown around as potential transfer candidate for the last two years. It doesn't seem like he loves it here so it wouldn't be shocking if he left.  That leaves the in-line te spot a little think since most of the top guys at TE including the two recruits are more flex oriented guys and I think that is why this staff wanted Tremble.

Parent should love it because they are a catholic school ? Feel like we are stuck in the middle: UM doesn't cheat like sec does UM is fantastic academically but is not Stanford UM, in Ann Arbor which I had the best time of my life yet it's not Westwood I mean what do we need to do ? To hell with ND

Until we start winning big and consistently putting players in the NFL like Alabama & OSU, there will always be some challenges to recruiting nationally with out-of-state prospects.

At least, Michigan has academics and tradition at its foundation to help get it in the mix with so many prospects to begin with.

The more distubing CB's are for Tyler Friday: Brian Dohn and Andrew Lind for Ohio State in the last couple of days.  That would be a huge blow to the class.

Osu guys putting in CB's for osu. Amazing. I just can't figure it out. Osu just lost there best recruit imo to Alabama. Cox and the QB were the guys I wanted to decommit. One out of two so far. There will be others. Woodbey will stay out west. High rated safety will go to Oklahoma. If they lose there QB to Alabama their class is not what it once was.

I don't know where Friday will go, but he is good friends with Gary so will see.

dont really care about this commitment and I am a recruiting junkie. With 2 TEs already committed, one that is in the top 100 overall, I dont see it as a need. That said if its not here please be UCLA.

I admit to being flabbergasted how ND continues to recruit well.  Take a look at any of their boards or talk to their fans.  They HATE Brian Kelly and want him gone, yet somehow high school kids don't get the message.  Weird.

I always thought adding a 3rd TE to this class seemed like a bit of a head scratcher, but what do I know.  Personally of the two guys deciding today I'd rather have Barrett who can possibly fit at mutliple positions.

Tremble was a luxury than a need at TE. There is allready Muhammad and Schoonmaker in the class. Also I would focus on Friday and Oweh more as they need to build the D-Line more and focus on keeping Otis in the class as well. The team will be fine at the TE position moving forward. With that said, I hope he witnesses how we will destroy ND first game of the season and regrets his decsion.
