That's not entirely accurate. I believe his mother went to Purdue and her family is from West Lafayette. I don't know whether or not she works at Purdue. His father, if I'm not mistaken, played at Miami and unfortunately has since passed.

How many current top 25 teams has Bama beaten? One? Let's slow down on the Tua hype.
|10/24/2018 - 9:37am||According to OSU beat-writer…||
According to OSU beat-writer Tim May's discussion on the B1G's SiriusXM channel, the soonest Bosa could return from his injury would be OSU's bowl game or the CFP and that is assuming a best case scenario. So his family decided there's no point to push rehabbing in order to return for that game.
|10/21/2018 - 3:05pm||I believe the rule was…||
I believe the rule was initially based on cost considerations. It's not fair for UM to be able to pay to have the whole team travel when one of their opponents wouldn't be able to afford to do the same.
|10/21/2018 - 10:07am||Looks like Dantonio is right…||
Looks like Dantonio is right on this one. What Harbaugh said is BS. Dantonio wasn't 5 yards behind the MSU players smiling. He was more like 2-3 yards behind them smiling. /s
|10/21/2018 - 10:00am||The B1G championship winner…||
The B1G championship winner that was left out of the CFP last year had two losses. If OSU only had one loss last year, there's no way the CFP committee puts in a one-loss SEC team that didn't win the SEC championship. If UM wins out and OU or Texas wins out, assuming the SEC and ACC have a champion with one or fewer losses and ND wins out, the question would be the B1G champ or the Big 12 champ, not whether two SEC teams will get in.

When the writer posits "true reasoning" the reader anticipates an explanation to follow along the lines of why the supposed thing is happening. However, it's jarring for the reader when the writer's explanation simply repeats the problem rather than explaining why the conundrum may validly exist.
|09/29/2018 - 9:04pm||Lol. Shea would look…||
Lol. Shea would look similar to McSorely in PSU's offense. McSorely would throw the ball fewer than 20 times a game in UM's offense.

QB run on third and long with no chance to get it. His head and neck got destroyed. Dabo... you done fucked up.

That's not entirely accurate. At least for both Rivals and 247. Their rankings are based on NFL talent. Barton Simmons continuously reiterates that their rankings are based on how the players project to the NFL.
|09/19/2018 - 3:19pm||Sam and Steve didn't wait to…||
Sam and Steve didn't wait to announce it. They had interviewed him and he said he was solid. Steve flipped his crystal ball about 20 days to a month before Herron committed to Stanford. Allen Trieu flipped his crystal ball 5 months beforehand to Stanford. All Sam and Steve can do is ask the kid and ask their contacts at UM.
Eric Gray doesn't have another frontrunner like Herron had with Stanford. Gray visited Ole Miss on an unofficial to watch a marquee game ('Bama) and his travel time from Memphis to Oxford was less than 1.5 hours. He's going to Tennessee this weekend. Neither of those teams appear to be real competitors for UM. If he visits Bama or PSU, then you might want to start worrying. Also the coaches okayed his two visits.
That all notwithstanding, crootin. So he could decommit tomorrow. He might be visiting 'Ole Miss again before too long. So where there's smoke....

Agree with this. You can still run man and use banjo. I believe that's what was supposed to happen on that first touchdown where it looked like Hawkins (I believe) allowed the man over the top for the score.
|09/13/2018 - 7:18am||I agree with you. This…||
I agree with you. This typical take is silly: unless a recruit chooses the most prestigious school they get into, assuming that it is Michigan, then academics truly aren't important to them. There are many factors for these recruits. Their saying academics is important does not mean academics is the most important or the only factor. Hell, when I chose to go to Michigan, it wasn't the most academically prestigious school that I got into, but there were other factors in my consideration that led to my choice.
By the typical logic, if an admit gets into Stanford and UM and chooses UM, academics weren't really important to him. Hell, if he chooses UM over NU that arguments can also be made.
|09/11/2018 - 8:55pm||How did you surmise that OSU…||
How did you surmise that OSU has low margins based on the chart? Their "profit" compared to their "revenue" is approximately two percentage points lower than UM's. Bama on the other hand has the same "revenue" as UM, but decidedly lower "profit."

|09/04/2018 - 8:39pm||Brian might want to be wary…||
Brian might want to be wary of running afoul of the State of Michigan's common law right of publicity or the tort of appropriation. As MGoBlog is not using Harbaugh's likeness on the banner in the context of reporting news, but rather commercially exploiting Harbaugh's pecuniary interest in his likeness. While this is not legal advice, you might want to consider changing the banner to avoid any potential legal ramifications arising from the unauthorized use of his likeness for commercial purposes.
|09/01/2018 - 11:45pm||He phoned the plays in to…||
He phoned the plays in to McElwain, who relayed them to Warriner, who wrote them down on a note card and had a runner walk them up to the booth to Pep. Pep subsequently called down to Harbaugh, who relayed them to the QB. That's why UM's clock management was so turrible. Just turrible.

That was actually a somewhat interesting watch. It's clear that neither Rob or Shannon has looked at any evaluations of the current team's roster. All they discussed was the past three years and tired old tropes. Provided no analysis of the offensive or defensive scheme. Shannon didn't even know who Notre Dame's QB is. Skip, who is usually atrocious, at least looked at UM's roster.

I like your content. Do you choose letterbox for cinematic effect or because there is some content (e.g., from Ty Rogers) for which you don't have the underlying source material? One of the problems with using letterbox when the content was shot in 16:9 is that heads are often cut off. Great videos nonetheless.

|08/10/2018 - 10:46pm||200-300 pairs per year…||
200-300 pairs per year assuming the pairs that go to friends of the program. There could be as many as 400-600 pairs of these exclusives out there. So that's 5.75% to as low as 3.83% of available pairs. It might be difficult to find the players, if any, that sold them, especially if any inscriptions/markers were removed.
UNC required their players to return their issued sneakers to the program and the players who could not produce their pairs were implicated. UM has had this Jordan contract for two full seasons. Current players could have gotten rid of their shows over that time without committing any impropriety, so the players might not be able to produce/return shoes that were issued two seasons ago.

|08/02/2018 - 9:46am||Here is one of the three or…||
Here is one of the three or so threads that I read prior to Zach Smith's firing. They were spreading rumors that the "scumbag" Ed W. ratted out Smith to the Columbus media. The guy who posted the screenshot of the court date regarding the restraining order was called "Ed" by some of the posters. Some were truly convinced that this was Ed's revenge.
|08/02/2018 - 6:45am||There was actually chatter,…||
There was actually chatter, prior to the public reports of Zach Smith's restraining order, on several OSU boards (11W, Bucknuts, etc), that Ed was the source of the reports. They called Ed a "snitch" and said that he had bad blood with Zach, which led to Ed pushing the "stale" stories about Zach.

Slot/APB - G. Jackson or W. Robinson (whoever commits first)

You're missing Kyle Ford as a top target. He's lighting up the opening as likely the best WR their. Additionally, he's recently spoken quite glowingly of Harbaugh and intends to take an official to UM. He enjoyed his first visit and his time with Harbaugh.
|07/01/2018 - 9:53pm||It's looking like Jackson…||
It's looking like Jackson had some of the best numbers at the Opening. He might be a take now for the staff. It might be a one spot for Robinson and Jackson and whoever commits first gets it. Not sure. I like both and would be happy with either.

The coaches were apparently pushing hard for both. They both have really high upside. Ojabo is a little more raw at this point. He might be faster, but Fletcher is quite athletic himself. Ojabo has the potential to be larger and to slide inside. Fletcher appears to be more of a DE. They're both good talents.
