Any word on tomorrow’s likely starter at QB?

Cause other than that, I don't see it happening.

That was 95.

And, as others have pointed out, 1995.

Hope in one hand. Shit in the other. See which one fills up first.
I hope (haha) we have some things go our way too and we pull it off but I still would rather see Speight or Peters out there instead of O'Korn. If John is out there though, I'd like to see a lot of rolling out at least so we can take any straight bull rushing out of the equation as well as blitzes that lead to happy feet or getting rocked. Roll him out and give him some running lanes at worst. Run the corners out of the area with deep routes and give him two options only, both simple options.

Peters still being in the concussion protocol as of at least Wednesday means that for more than half the prep week, he not only wasn't physically preparing, it also very likely means he wasn't mentally prepping -- studying film & analyzing plays, as concussion recovery means giving your brain a rest (which is why recovering athletes often miss school work as well, or at least have a reduced workload).
It would have been tough enough for a non-concussed Peters to properly prepare for OSU, and we're in even a worse situation.

Do you think it makes sense for a freshman QB to play against a top defense with half a week of prep?
I realize JOK is not a good option, based on past performance. But Peters chance of success (which when he is healthy, while higher than JOK, is still not all that high based on our shaky OL and WRs) is going to be severely hurt by the fact he was knocked out and concussed less than a week ago. That has to be in the forefront of Harbaugh's mind.

I'm hoping for Uncle Rico.
I've heard a rumor that Uncle Rico once threw a football over a mountain.

I have it on good authority (I'm best friends with the backup punter) that it will be Harbaugh himself. He's been given clearance by the NCAA to come back for one game.

Hi Urban
It's going to be Wilton Speight, who's been working with Grant Perry and a few other receivers on the side with Pep Hamilton just for this.
Actually, no, Brandon Peters will be back--his head is fine and concussion was ruled out last week but we wanted you to think that he's out so you wouldn't be prepared for us to unleash a Double-TE downfield attack on you.
Yeah, fine, I'm lying, it's John O'Korn, who's been practicing all year as a zone read option QB and that's why he looks so unprepared all the time when you've seen him in since the offense he's been practicing isn't the one he's had to run.
But in reality we're pulling the redshirt off of McCaffrey for this game and that was the plan all along.

So you're saying it won't be Malzone? Thanks for the tip!
Sincerely,
