Milton won't be seeing meaningful snaps at UM for at least the next 2 years.

09/18/2018 - 4:46pm I think if he would have…

I think if he would have went to a team with a flashier offense he would be putting up Haskins numbers right now.

09/18/2018 - 4:43pm 20 attempts and 200yds a…

20 attempts and 200yds a game aren't exactly the flashy non-conference numbers the other 2019 draft favorites are putting up.

Remember, Patterson even appeared on a few Heisman watch lists in the pre-season.

I think the pre-season draft and Heisman talk stemmed from the idea that everyone thought Patterson would get more opportunities to spin the ball each game.

09/18/2018 - 2:30pm Could you imagine any OSU…

Could you imagine any OSU fan uttering that?

It's amazing just how far away Michigan is from being elite.

09/18/2018 - 12:57pm When's the last time…

When's the last time Harbaugh's power football put up 150 yards + on a team with a pulse?m

Seems our rivals have no issue putting 200+ up on us.

09/18/2018 - 12:55pm We had 50 yards rushing…

We had 50 yards rushing against Wisconsin last year.

Its been YEARS since Michigan has imposed their will by running the ball on a team with a pulse.  If Michigan is going to beat PSU, MSU, WIS and maybe even NW, we are going to have to throw the ball.

09/17/2018 - 9:57am A bigger deal needs to be…

A bigger deal needs to be made of this:

The ref even goes hunting for Bush (phrasing) after the play and says something else to him!

09/16/2018 - 6:31pm It was 42-14 at the half and…

It was 42-14 at the half and OSU was playing a defensive line composed of only freshman at the end of the 2nd quarter.

09/16/2018 - 12:39pm I'd give away half of the…

I'd give away half of the home slate for our season tickets to have an offense as explosive, exciting, and efficient as the Ohio State's, Oklahoma's, Bama's and Georgia's of the world.

09/16/2018 - 12:28pm Even ND was run, run,…

Even ND was run, run, playaction, punt.

09/14/2018 - 11:59am It says that he's being…

It says that he's being placed on "Long-term Injured Reserve" which will help Holland out with cap space this season

To add: Now ESPN and other sources picking up on the story as well.

09/13/2018 - 8:06am The kid is completing 80% of…

The kid is completing 80% of his passes, has almost 550 yards and has already thrown for 9 touchdowns this season.

Watch 10 minutes of Ohio State and you'll see that he's clearly better than Barrett.

Yes, he's played a good team. If you remember, he's the kid who came in off the bench and beat us in our own house last November.

09/13/2018 - 8:00am Michigan ran for 371 yards…

Michigan ran for 371 yards on Minnesota last year, and then followed it up 2 weeks later with 58 yards against Wisconsin. Barely cracked 100 against MSU and OSU.

When's the last time Michigan ran the ball well against a team with a pulse?

09/12/2018 - 9:22pm Running the ball…

Running the ball successfully on WMU and SMU means nothing.

Last year Michigan ran for 371(!) yards against Minnesota, and then followed it up with 58 yards against Wisconsin 2 weeks later.

If Michigan wants ANY chance at beating the good teams on the schedule, we're going to have to be able to air it out consistently.

09/12/2018 - 8:31pm I'd just like to see more…

I'd just like to see more downfield passing attempts on simple routes. No need to get fancy, just another opportunity to work on timing against a non-teammate.

Who cares if you're already up on them, still throw the ball around a bit. SMU knew what they signed up for and I assume are receiving a decent paycheck for the game, why not take advantage of it?

09/12/2018 - 4:55pm What news?

What news?

09/12/2018 - 4:54pm 100% chance..

100% chance..

09/12/2018 - 4:53pm I don't think anybody is…

I don't think anybody is trembling after watching us beat WMU. WMU is predicted to finish 4th in their division of the MAC and Notre Dame looked VERY suspect against Ball State last weekend @ home.

Roll through Northwestern and beat Wisconsin and then the heads will begin to turn.

09/12/2018 - 8:09am I'm seeing that decent…

I'm seeing that decent tickets for Northwestern are still $150-200. Anybody expect them to drop at all or should I just pick them up now?

With both teams having easier games before they meet up, my first inclination is that tickets may even rise a bit more?

09/11/2018 - 2:12pm When's the last time…

When's the last time Michigan imposed their will by rushing on a team with a pulse?

2016 PSU that was without 3 starting linebackers for the Michigan game? 2015 Northwestern before that?

09/11/2018 - 11:55am Does a Michigan fan…

Does a Michigan fan overlooking an opponent have any impact on the game whatsoever?

09/11/2018 - 10:46am And by no means am I…

And by no means am I advocating for opening up the playbook with TE screens and RB wheel routes; I'm just saying that I don't see any harm in allowing Patterson attempt a few more downfield shots on simple deep routes.

You get better at the game by playing the game.

09/11/2018 - 10:07am Not ALL coaches do that.

Not ALL coaches do that.

OSU allows their QBs to get live-fire time even with the game in hand. I come from the school of thought that you shouldn't have to cater your offense around how bad an opponent is. SMU knew what they signed up for.

We all know we are going to have to throw the ball to be successful against Wisconsin, MSU, PSU, OSU, and maybe even Northwestern. So why not throw the ball around in the games leading up to those matchups as well?

Yeah, I completely forgot about McSorely somehow.

I don't get the hype over a true freshman for a likely 6-7 win team.

09/10/2018 - 4:18pm We can't really be worried a…

We can't really be too worried a True Freshman from a team like Nebraska are we?  He's probably the 4th or 5th toughest QB we face if I had to guess.

Haskins --> Lewerke --> Thorson (if 100%) --> Wimbush --> Martinez (if 100%)

A noon Maize-Out?

What are the odds that the student section is 1/2 empty at kickoff and 1/4 of the stadium wears blue?

Michigan had one sack against WMU. We aren't quite lighting up quarterbacks like we were last year.

Anyone else see Kinnel blow up the pulling OL?

Love the physicality even though he gave up the edge.

Not much of a source, but I know StubHub still has blocks of 6+ tickets available. When using app you just have to scroll to the right when choosing the # of tickets needed.

Negative.  Looks like general consensus from NU site is that it's likely a 3:30ET time.

09/09/2018 - 4:11pm I thought I heard Kemp's…

I thought I heard Kemp's name called a couple times yesterday and he appeared to hold his ground. Saw Mone get blown off the ball a couple times, but he was constantly getting double-teamed and that opened up room for other guys to make plays.

Looked like both Winovich and Gary took a few snaps inside yesterday. Did Brown/Mattison do that much last year too?

Good to see Paye get some run too. Fun game.

09/09/2018 - 1:25am What's up with coaches…

What's up with coaches throwing fades to short guys in the red zone against MSU Alabama McDoom in 2017?

Seems like you're just setting a down on fire.

They're supposedly playing without 2 starters tonight too.

This game has the feel that MSU is about to break it open and win big.

My guess is that this game ends 34-0 MSU.

Is McCurry the guy who got a bit of hype this spring as making a few plays?
