Chris Evans (Michigan Football Doppelgänger)
That TD run vs FSU was so filthy
The FSU guys just stop pursuing, it's beautiful.
It's a shame that wasn't the memorable moment from that game. That should've been the dagger
Evans is very smooth with sick instincts. Dude is going to be a stud if he can stay healthy.
Evans & Higdon provide a great one two punch for us at RB this year. Evans is so smooth and fun to watch, but he really needs to gain some toughness and be able to lower the helmet this year. That will be an interesting development to watch. He seems to have bought in to the Harbaugh toughness mantra. I remember watching an interview where he proclaimed "I needed that hit" against Illinois.. the one that may have concussed him. The way he bounces runs outside and really the way he runs reminds me of Ezekiel Elliot, without the toughness and head sparring.
Hoping Evans kills it in 2017. Really like the kid.
Issac. The guy has size and good instincts. He adds some more toughness and he could have a huge year. We could have a three headed monster this year to give D's a headache.
Four or five headed monster if you include Walker and Samuels. Nice stable of backs. Can't wait for them to get started. I know of another back we definetly want and that is Noah Cain, cool name and one hell of a running back. Underwood I believe is like big brother to him so hopefully he can get him in with the right team (Wolverines). Got off subject a bit but I think Evans, Isaac and higdon will all have big years and maybe even Walker. Don't know how they work Samuels in or maybe redshirt I don't know.
If Evans turns out to be even half as good as Ezekiel Elliott was, we got ourselves a god one.
but calling him a god may just be going a bit too far, no?
only more omnicient
Pkatz, I'm with you on this one. I'll only probclaim him almighty status if he tears up the bucknuts defense. Only studs and men can accomplish this feat.
is that he makes his cuts with a lot of anticipation. He cuts before the defender is expecting a player to be juking (with that devastating dead leg mostly), which is how he gets defenders to bite SO hard. He's fun.
...compared well to Tony Boles. Hadn't thought of Powers.
Boles was a great running back from Westland who blew his knee out late in his junior year. I believe it was an ACL which means with todays technology he would have recovered completely. But he didn't. Failed to make the NFL as an 11th round pick, though he would have likely been a first round pick if he didn't get hurt. Sadly his life decended into drugs and crime.
Powers had a short NFL career and returned to his hometown of Akron where he has been a teacher and football coach of great stature.
Tony Boles reminded me of Roger Craig of San Francisco. I thought that Boles would be a star in the NFL. And I couldn't believe it when he tore his knee up. I still feel bad for the guy.
I can't think of his name but we had a All American safety that hurt his knee that same year.
Thanks, that's who I was thinking of.
At one time Michigan had Tony Boles, Leroy Hoard and Jarrod Bunch all on the same team. I still can't believe we didn't win a national championship with any of those teams back in the 80's. We had future NFL players everywhere.
I'm 49. I think everyone on this blog is under 25 and doesn't remember when Michigan was one of the best teams in the country every year.
Don't forget that Allen Jefferson from Detroit DeLasalle was also RB on that team. This year's RB stable reminds me of back then.
...only faster.

You just tackled Chris Evans, congratulations, you are now more than qualified to join MSU's defensive two-deep.
I'm definitely more excited for the season to begin. Lets hope he has a serviable line in front of him..
I think he went pro after his Junior year. The year before Biakabutuka took off.
took a few carries
Better to be reminded of Ricky Powers than Kenny Powers, thank God.
Who is @Kidnplay_abc123 (Chris Evans) #MichiganFootball doppleganger?
