Sigh of Relief/Other Games Open Thread
Currently we have Seton Hall leading Arkansas 66-62, Oregon up big at the half, and Jacksonville State has an early lead of 8-2 against Louisville.
Louisville just had a sequence where they missed three layups and a dunk. So not exactly the offensive juggernaut we faced today.
and rocking in my rocking chair after that one. Beat the best offense in the country by outscoring them. Bet they didn't see that coming!
...80% physical. The other half is mental.
Pitino is losing his shit early. Love it.
Everybody getting their entertainment money's worth?
was worth every penny
Definitely entertained (15/16 on day one). And if NW beats Gonzaga, I win $175 on a $30 bet. Go Cats!
Louisville looks . . . uninterested.
Jax State up 10-2!
go fuck themselves. I'm looking at you Okalhoma and Oregon. Guilt by association bitches.
Impressed by Jacksonville State's athleticism.
As we all know, our friends down in Columbus are a bit peeved over the Buckeyes missing the Big Dance so they could use a lil' pick-me-up.
So, remember to tip the pizza guy a little extra tonight, m'kay?
pizza delivery guys.
Until the end of time. Fuck them all.

As long as public toilets need cleaning, they've got job security.
No one talking about a potential game with Oregon... those boys can score some points
but are they as fast and efficient as Ok St? If we can handle that, we can handle Oregon. At least I think we can. We'll have almost a week to prepare if we face them
Or perhaps 15 seed Jacksonville State.
oh shit, my bad... plus we still haven't beat ohio state
Louisville is a team we can beat trading threes for twos.
Problem is if they rebound half or more of their misses, which is a concern.
missed shots. that will be tough to duplicate.
Jim Nantz just said the Big 12 is undefeated in the tournamed immediately after talking about us beating OK State.
I caught that too - he might have meant the rest of the Big 12, but still... it's amazing that some of these people are paid to mostly just ramble.
Well, if you don't count Rutgers, because they're a bunch of butts, and you don't count Penn State, because of Awful Thing, we're only 12 schools strong.
game to Purdue.
Un-characteristic misses on the front end of one and ones by us. Can't do that shit anymore.
anybody know where I can watch a replay of the Oklahoma State game? Thanks
I'm waiting until someone posts it on YouTube later tonight. It should be posted on the board when it is.
My basement. Come over any time. DVR is ready.

IT'S GONNA BE A GOOD ST. PATRICK'S DAY NIGHT
on a day when I couldn't hold any food down.
We stopped ten miles out before coming back and I remember lying under the river waves just feeling like driftwood.
That's pretty much how I feel right now.
Michigan fans doing the "DEFENSE!" chant for Jacksonville St.
I respect Lewis Johnson's decision to attend this game in costume as Brother Mouzone.
Flagrant foul? What garbage
Perhaps what was even more egregious was that Arkansas started that possession with the exact same travel that was called on Seton Hall immediately beforehand.
Agree with Webber that call flagrant call was not great. Hard foul, but not flagrant.
and he falls on his face, that is flagrant.
It was the combo of a moderate foul and then he ended up being tripped inadvertently by the Seton Hall player. At first I thought it was a Euro Soccer style dive but then I saw his left foot got tripped a little bit, then he got his legs caught together and down he went. Not a flagrant, just unfortunate for Seton Hall that they got tangled it looked like a flagrant
just got jobbed.
They called a flagrant 2 when a guy was fouled with 17 seconds left.
That was ridiculous.
