One of my favorite character actors RIP.

 

Was also a very good underrated movie

Apollo 13 is a movie I can watch over and over. He said, "I could eat the ass out of a dead rhinoceros". Why do I remember that?

Watched him as Morgan Earp this morning...

Thought he was hilarious in Edge of Tomorrow. Only guy to be killed by a Predator, Terminator, Alien, and Agent Coulson

Once took a flight from Chicago with Mr. Paxton on the plane.  Ordinary Joe.  His roles were always supporting but he always left an impression.  Talented and way too young to go.  Huge loss to the entertainment community.  Will always be a fan of his work.

RIP Bill Paxton.

He was just on LeBetard's show about two weeks ago. What a shame, Aliens was one of the first rated "R" movies I ever saw and the line "Game over man" rang through my head for many sleepless nights.

Can 2016 just end already? RIP

61 is way too young.  RIP Bill.   You're right Putin, he had a ton of roles that were memorable but was still an underrated actor

He was a great shooter for the Bulls back in the day.

"Game over, man, game over..." "One express elevator to hell...going down!" "Yeah, but it's a dry heat!" His delivery of, "Why don't you put her in charge," was itself worth the price of a ticket. But still, when I saw Aliens with friends in college we insisted on referring to his character as Chet instead of Hudson. Another poster mentioned Trepass, a terrific film also made better by his presence in it. He was awesome in Predator 2, recently in Edge of Tomorrow. He was great and winning and funny in everything he did. R.I.P. to a wonderful actor who brought magic to his films.

He was great in Predator 2 and Twister. Also Hatfield and McCoys. One False Move is an underrated film as well. RIP Bill

Used a clip of him as Chet in Werid Science on another thread. 

Sucks to hear of his untimely death due to surgery. I wonder what was wrong with him?

Update: He had heart surgery and complications from it caused him to have a stroke which killed him

Wow...surprising.   Just this past week I saw him on a large billboard in Hollywood promoting his new Training Day series, which caused me to think "oh thats what he is up to these days".  RIP

i liked him the best in the first Terminator

Live Die and Repeat with Tom Cruise some of the bestpats of the movie. Whats sad is he didn't look old enough to be over 55.

Rip Mr. Paxton.  One of the few Hollywood types who seemed like a down to earth guy.  Shit.

My favorite role was Hudson in Aliens. "Is this gonna be another big hunt?"

Not one of his bigger movies, but he was downright amazing in True Lies as the sleazy used car salesman.

"I'm naval lint!!!!"

At the risk of sounding insensitive....I was just starting to like his new series Training Day.

Never heard of him, to be honest, but RIP. 

In Big Love, recall that Bill Henrickson had some cardiac symptoms in a few episodes related to his trying to keep his three wives happy.

the Clairvoyant in Agents of Shield.  He gave a fine performance that came largely as the first season raised its game in the wake of Captain America: Winter Soldier.
