Right, so I don't understand the hoopla. We're obviously just offering a walk-on spot, right?

Next weapon for Tom Brady.

He reminds of a young Antonio Brown. I expect him to be that good and just continue the trend of Iowa kids making good Michigan WRs.

He reminds me more of a young Julian Edelman/Jordy Nelson type personally

You forgot Wes Welker

does not look "gritty, coaches son," or all the other code words? He actualy looks um, athletic, which is the code for another skin tone

I'm still trying to figure out if he reminds me more of Wes Welker, Julian Edelman or David Eckstein.

he's in the C Hogan mold. He's such a heady, high character player.
January 26th, 2017 at 4:12 PM ^
I was thinking maybe Wayne Chrebet, Ed McCaffrey, or Eric Decker.
January 26th, 2017 at 6:19 PM ^
John Kolesar, Paul Jokish, Drew Dileo.

Why don't we all get our Oliver Martin Patriot jerseys now. You know it's going to happen.
January 26th, 2017 at 5:28 PM ^
Hunter Renfro, Christian McCaffery and Ryan Switzer are going to be outstanding Patriots with 6th round pick Jake Rudock playing quarterback.

Lol, Eckstein. Don't suppose you're an old FJM fan?
January 26th, 2017 at 5:01 PM ^
Oh my god yes. I hadn't thought about FJM for an eternity until seeing this, but in the back of my head I was chuckling at the thought of gritty grit Eckstein. So much fisking.

I'm still trying to figure out if these jokes remind me more of Oakland is Still in Play, Alex Kozan or Ronald Johnson.

I gotta be honest, I could only watch about 30 seconds of it. It looks like he is playing against Jr. high school kids. That is some of the worst competition I have seen on a highlight film. I'm not knocking him at all, I know he has fully acquitted himself in summer camps against the top of the top so I'm not concerned at all about his skills. But my little sister when she was 13 could've run wide open against those DBs. He didn't even have to run routes, he just ran downfield and looked up.

That's absolutely not true. It's one thing to watch a guy run a route against a cover guy with good hips and footwork and actually have to rely on making sharp breaks to get open vs. just running downfield. DPJ played against some pretty good DBs and made catches in coverage--that's a little different than the, I think it was second catch, contested one that Martin made over two kids who were nowhere near having a clue where the ball was. There's a huge difference between seeing a receive go for that ball and be well contested vs. just reaching around two lost kids who don't know what they're doing and the WR catches it because he's the only one who even knows he's playing football that day.
