These high school kids have fun with the suspense surrounding where they will play college football. I bet it's a huge letdown when it's all over and you have to go about your business.

After watching him during the opening this summer, I have been high on him in the same way I was high on Ambry Thomas. He runs awesome routes, he runs hard with great footwork, and he has great hands. His greatest intangible attribute in my opinion is that he doesn't get flustered or emotional. He just goes out there focused and gives it all on every play. I'm already calling him Mr. Reliable in my head. I want him in this class big time and ecstatic we are going after him again. I just think he's going to be a special player.

I'm right here, you can get your hopes up if you want but have you seen any actual news aside from him saying that Alabama still leads? You can talk all the shit you want about me being realistic but who was right about Harris? There's nothing sarcastic about this. The kid said Bama is leading, there is no actual news from any of these people who are picking balls so unless hat happens I remain very skeptical. There is hope though, this isn't a situation like Harris where we actually had to flip someone off a commitment and we know he liked us enough to commit at one point.

Learned my lesson when it comes to recruiting battles that involve Alabama, I'm not going to get my hopes up.   Completley unrelated, but I've also learned that when an announcement starts with "for the next 3 to 4 years I'll be taking my talents to" is a clear indecation they are not picking Michigan.

Isaiah Hole has only made 9 predicitions. Many of the writers have hundreds. Not only has he only made a small handful of predicitions but they are pretty much all obvious picks like Cesar Ruiz to UM, Drew Singleton to UM, Chuck Filiaga to UM, etc

Not really hard to be at 100% when you cherry pick the easy committs

I'm a team writer covering Michigan, so I don't necessarily have my ear to the ground for other programs. In retrospect it looks like I'm cherry picking, but I put in a CB to players like Ambry Thomas a long time ago, when the writing wasn't on the wall. 

Some like Ruiz I put in far later, when it was pretty certain, but I also don't throw my CB against the wall to see if it sticks. Once sources give me enough credence to be above a certain threshold is when I put in a CB.

I've also put in a few of my picks before my colleague Steve Lorenz has, like with Filiaga.

A cherry picker would be somebody like Garret Fishaw. First you'll see one or two legit CBers put their ball in for somebody and then Fishaw quickly does the same. Cracks me up.

FWIW, Lorenz just put in his CB for Martin to Michigan.  I'm a bit surprised to see Martin trending to the good guys but a very nice development indeed!
