Holmes is a guy whose father played in the league, and from his hat ceremony it seemed like he ended up where Dad wanted him rather than where he may have wanted to go. Or his little brother, who was the highlight of the game with his obvious disappointment in the ucla choice.

I've started to think the same thing. Nothing says that just because he originally intended on enrolling early that he can't just hold off and start with the rest of the incoming freshmen.

Just what we need...another several weeks to dissect the situation.

Why would he be on campus if it wasn't to start classes? I'm wondering if maybe he actually does want/need more time, which isn't out of the realm of possibility.

And what is the likelihood that someone would decide to EE and then wait until the last possible minute to add classes? That would seem to create a significant amount of work to make up for a full course load, especially for someone who is used to a high school schedule.

If it was Bama then he'd go right away. Clearly there are issues with both places so he's having a hard time deciding. Better news than the last couple days I suppose.

I think that's one of the most likely scenarios. He kinda wants to go to Michigan, but th recent history of player development eg kids getting drafted and the dominance of college football suggest that Bama is the obvious choice. Hope he decides today or tomorrow, or that Clemson wins. Deciding in the potential afterglow of a potential national championship on Monday does not help us.
