Dantonio Memes To Troll Spartans

Submitted by Stay.Classy.An… on

MGoFamily,

Over the last several days, I have been trolling my Spartan friends with Mork Dantini memes. I thought some of you would like to share these with your fellow Spartan friends or (dreaded) family members. I have kept them PG, so nobody has to worry about them being NSFW or upsetting the PC police. For those that watch South Park, this is not SkankHunt42 level trolling. It is however, just enough to make State fans realize their coach, team and fanbase has had this coming for a long time. Oddly enough, not one State fan has responsded to any of these, guess it's really easy to run and hide when you aren't a true fan.

ENJOY!

*Moms, delete if you must*

Yes I know we are heavily favored and highly ranked and they arent.  Just like OSU was going into Happy Valley on Saturday.

Can we please win the fucking game first THEN start this shit?  Like it or not we've been their bitch since 2008 so can we hold off on this for.....oh I dunno....about five more days?

funny nor classy. It's really not that big of a deal, in the grand scheme of things. Nobody on this blog has the power to win the game, I don't believe in jinxes, they are not real. This is life, can't we have a little fun? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and that's why I enjoy the blog so much, but, come on! These memes hold no super powers, or do they.....?

I understand why older posters say this. They remember well the days when a powerhouse Michigan team would lose to lightweights. It happened with Bo, Moller and Carr. Those days are over. Harbaugh knows that next Saturday is the most important game of the season. He has been through the playoffs before. He knows what it takes. Everyone giving everything every week.

It's more the ordering of things has changed.  I more used to a different sequence of events:

My Generation

1. Play game

2. Win game

3. Talk shit about how great you are (this may occur mid-game if going exceptionally well OR pre-game if your recent history indicates you'll prolly win big)

Younger People

1. Talk shit about how great you are (this can occur at any time regardess of your recent history)

2. Play game

3. Pray you win game

It's bragging rights. It's part of what makes CFB so great. BUT it should only be done AFTER it's earned. This can also include situations where certain "fans" start shit with you because Michigan, and I quote, "has never beaten" a rival. Or, sometimes, because you just came up with something incredibly witty.

1. play game.

2.  win game

3.  say nothing since #2 is what is supposed to happen, reserving a smile and the occasional hoot in private with others on your team

4.  go on to next game

Well, maybe the older generations should've done a better job raising the younger generations. But, seriously you should stop attributing characteristics to entire generations. Also toot should change "play game" to "watch game". That's an important distinction.

Come off it, mate. I know your generation would have done the exact same things as the younger people today do if you had the same technology. If you were able to talk crap to a rival fan anonymously, I'm sure you would have. This tired troupe of "our generation was so much better" is so weak. As was pointed out already, who raised us?

in fact, if i was of a mind to talk smack, it would be more fun to be very well known.

the closest i ever came to talking smack was one game when were playing in L.A., and their defensive backfield talked trash all day, non-stop.  i'm the TE and i'm catching passes so i hear it all game and say nada.

close game, we drive down the field and (pardon the humble-brag) i catch the winning TD with just over a minute left in the game.  two of the trash talkers are laying at my feet, and in the one instance in my entire life that i didn't hand a TD ball to the ref, i lay it down between the two of them and say, 'dignity is very quiet, isn't it?'   one of our wideouts heard me say that and exclaimed, 'man, those [expletives] don't even know how to spell word dignity!'.

of your avatar. The thing is, if we beat state Saturday, great.....I fully expect that will bng them this year in any way "evens things up" for the last 8 years you are badly mistaken.

We need to do this, and do it again, and again. In 4 years, then we can talks hit. But not now, not even next week

I can talks hit all I want. Those memes are hardly the worst thing I or you have ever said. +1 for the username policing. Though it's a little weird that you have an 18 year old as your avatar....

and yes, beating STAEEEE down epically this year absolutely makes up for the past 8/9 years when our program was in a downward spiral straight to the pits of hell....before Harbarugh arrived. If all goes according to plan, Harbaugh will accomplish in two years, what it took Antonio to do in 9. Quit listening to Spartan fans about their recent dominance. The ONLY GAME that matters every year, is the one being played this season. Not the one from last year, or every one from the last 8 years. It's bush league to pretend that winning 8 games in a row somehow negates a victory this year. Our record starts off at 0-0 every year.

BEAT STAEEEEEEEE!

Sparty will play one of its best if not the best game of its season. At home, nothing to lose after 5 straight losses, Bullough will contain himself and plays as he's capable, Lewerke will have the time to throw a few good passes.

None of this will do them much good, of course, but it will still be their best effort. After the game, let the chortles begin.

...but admit I would love to see some memery of the 'Reach Higher' slogan or other spartyisms. that said, I have greatly enjoyed the peaceful social media playland this season. I think I have seen 4 sparty posts since their first loss.

Living in Grand Rapids I have been subject to sparty trash talk for several years now.

I have driven my sparty co-workers to melt down this year by not saying a word, just a shitty little grin does the trick.

: )

Some people never learn. I don't care how each team has looked it will be a fight to the death. It is a home game for Staee and if they catch a few breaks or some bad injuries happen they can win. Playing on the road isn't easy. I haven't said anything to any Staee fans yet this season and I am waiting until the game ends before I talk shit. This game terrifies me and I will be nervously pacing the house until 4pm on Saturday until I finally break down and check the score.
