Harbaugh v. Meyer theorhetical fight
SB Nation has hot takes on if our coach could beat up their coach. My money is on Harbaugh. Meyer would collapse from the stress of even contemplating it.

Urban's heart condition would start acting up as soon as the fight started. Harbaugh would rip his heart out Indiana Jones style, fix it and replace it, and then beat him like a jackhammer.

My thought exactly and not just because I'm a Michigan fan... being a professional athlete has to count for something! Size, athleticism, and enthusiasm unknown to mankind combine for a first round KO. Not even a discussion.

I think Harbaugh would win, based on measurables. But his one elbow is a bit jacked, and Meyer seems crazy in a "body parts in the fridge" way, so he might try to shank Harbaugh.
But I know that Mark Dantonio would feel left out and bitch about it to the press.

They'd enter the ring. Harbaugh would be 100% business from the go, bathsit crazy eyes and pacing back and forth. Urban would say, "This is just for fun, right? Like, for charity or something???" Harbaugh would instantly race across the ring and open with an overhand right to Urban's forehead. Urban would flail backways, only staying up because of the ropes. After a few seconds - during which Harbaugh would be pacing like a crazed 30-year prison inmate again - Urban would say, "Holy shit, this is serious." He'd then crawl under the bottom rope, and run as fast as possible back to his dressing room. Tebow would be there to hold him, gently caress his bloody forehead, and remind him that "Jesus still loves you."
Fin.

I'd rather focus on Rutghers

I can't even believe they're entertaining Meyer over Harbaugh. Harbaugh drinks whole milk. Meyer drinks skim.

I always called it water with white food coloring, but this is better.

Might rank up there with Hearns/Hagler, Duran/Leonard, and Skreech/Horshack

and the OP should feel bad.
Now if someone wants to write an article about their wives fighting, that would get me to stand up and pay attention.

Ehh I agree that it's a stupid hypothetical argument, but Tom Herman was the one that brought it up on the Dan Patrick Show. I think it's news worthy that the coach of the #6 team in the country is still so obssessed with Michigan.
Also giggity on the wife fight.

Not sure why this is bad and don't understand the negs as some people obviously got into the idea. Though I do feel bad now that I've been trolled.

I'd take Harbaugh hands down due to the crazy factor. For some reason I'm reminded of the scene in Fight Club where Brad Pitt gets his face pounded in by Lou, all while laughing at him, just so he can keep the basement. "You don't know where I've been Urban!"

Exactly. Putting aside the fact that Harbaugh once was a professional athlete as well as my homerism, this would be no contest. Reason being that people like Harbaugh are the worst kind to fight.
They are unpredictable, ruthless, crazy, and usually don't know when to stop. Urban just might die in this fight.

You use the word "crazy" in a good way but not everyone takes it that way. People mean different things when they use the word: "crazy".
JH always seems to have a purpose behind his unusual acts. His detractors--people like the SEC commentators-- like to call his behavior "crazy". But many players--who don't want to be like everyone else--seem to appreciate JH's nonconformity. In fact, it's a trait that the winningest NFL coaches have had (eg Lombardi, Madden).
Unfortunately, the word, "crazy" is also often taken in a pejorative way to refer to diagnosable problems--the kind treated by Urban Meyer's wife--a psychiatric nurse. Recently, she and Urban described his battles with sedative addiction, depression, and anxiety--the latter of which may be confused with "heart attacks". But it also would be wrong to use the term "crazy" to refer to these not uncommon human vulnerabilities. In fact, there was a lot of praise here for the open revelation of these disorders by Urban and his wife.

I'd take Harbaugh vs Herman & Urban and don't think it would be particularly close.

Harbaugh
-3 hour bloodmatch basketball game with a staff person 10-15 years younger
-Tells his NFL owner to get the fuck out of his lockerroom
-Punched out Jim Kelly for shit talking him
-Told Peyton Manning that he (Harbaugh) had more mustard on his ball when playing catch
-Forced his dad to continue playing monopoly until he stripped him bare...Dad's comment was for Jim "winning isn't enough...he has to destroy you".
-Lots more...
Meyer
-Great FB coach
-Left Florida due to health concerns due to anxiety & pressure
-Cheese pizza lover
Harbaugh would make a pair of snare drums out of Meyer's skin....no contest

"Forced his dad to continue playing monopoly until he stripped him bare..."
Good stories, but kind of uncomfortable phrasing there.

something like this I think
October 7th, 2016 at 1:44 PM ^
He almost drowned his brother John on a family vacation (as adults) Urban would concede or perish...
It was about the day John thought Jim had finally “snapped.”
The two brothers were all grown up and Jim was a quarterback with the Chicago Bears while John was early in his coaching career. Jim took the family on a Florida beach vacation, and as brothers do, they started wrestling in the water.
As is prone to happen, the tenacity of the battle escalated and the (at the time) bigger and stronger professional football player picked up John and slammed him under the waves. And then he held him there … and held him there … and held him there.
“’Let me up! Air bubbles coming up,’” John said. “You know what goes through my mind? He snapped.
“All those years, all those fights, all those times being a little brother and having to hear about his older brother being all that. This is how it’s going to end. He’s going to take me down right now.”
Finally, Jim let John up. They shook hands and Jim gave him a look that said, “Does that settle it?” (It was the same look Jim said he got from John when they shook hands after the Ravens’ Super Bowl XLVII victory over the San Francisco 49ers.)

Harbaugh is a X professional athlete for god sakes.
I also find it people say he is crazy. If that's true there is another reason.
Crazy smart more like it.

it would be no contest. Meyer isn't the type to fight dirty, is he?
